A look at a very cool, excellent, retro-style watch.

I was in the local dollar store the other day, when I was blown away to find a battery powered mini fan that I had owned as a kid, still being sold, totally unchanged. Here's my review of one.

A beautiful, but sadly nonfunctional vintage camcorder that a friend of mine gave me. Also a look at a bunch of historical articles that came with it, and a quick look at a lot of forty 8mm videotapes that I am digitizing for said friend.

I gave Android a good and fair trial, and while I like it overall, there were some differences I couldn't settle with it, and I missed a lot of things about Windows Phone. Here's the story.

On the morning of March 30th, Facebook shut down the Messenger service for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 forever. Because I rely on Messenger for professional purposes, this made me decide, with little hesitation, that it's time to buy a new phone. However, while I would have liked to upgrade to a Windows 10 phone, I don't think that's a smart choice anymore. So, after 2.5 years of loyalty, I've decided to leave the Windows Phone platform.

I still don't know if it's okay to use these tapes long term though. Does anybody know that can tell me?

Mystery boxes discovered at school yield a bunch of vintage computer backup tapes. And we don't necessarily need a computer to play with most of them!
