In recent years, LED wristwatches have seen a resurgence in popularity more than any other obsolete technology. A few companies today are manufacturing modern LED watches, and some of them, given the general quality of today's manufacturing, are actually pretty decent for the price. Here I review a product from one of the more well-known sellers, and one of only two or three that have offered a real wire-bond LED display on their watches.

This is everything I took from the e-waste pile when it closed on April 9. Most of the things are ready for their own videos, so they will be coming in the near future. I'm really excited and hope you are too - this stuff will be incredibly fun to play around with and learn about. bla

Some cool stuff I saved a couple of months ago.

The CCD-TRV66 was Sony's top-of-the-line analog Handycam in 1999. A wide array of features, typical Handycam quality, and employment of the highest quality analog consumer camcorder video format made for a killer device; one which has been dubbed by random sources as one of the best analog consumer camcorders ever made.

Mom dug out her old film camera, and I discovered a minor interest I didn't know I had. See the end of the video for 20+ test photos.

Update: It turns out the organizer was acting so sick because I didn't properly initialize it by inserting the backup battery and resetting it. Upon doing do, it works just fine. That leaves the display - I've had the unit apart, and I can't find the problem, so I will leave it as is. A video of it will be made.

I went back to the e-waste box for the purpose of finding the power supply for that USB hard drive, and I came back with more than I could have ever imagined.
