This was one of the first things I filmed with my phone, back in January. I'm not an elevator enthusiast, but I do like the Dover Impulse, as I've known them and have been able to identify them by their unique style my whole life. These two are easily available to me, right at school.

This is the exhibit that a group at school set up throughout probably the last several months of the school year, and opened to the public from March until early April. The purpose was to demonstrate how much electronic waste we generate, and how it would all go into the landfill if we didn't put out the effort to recycle it. Or reduce it, or...

Re-use it! And indeed, on the day the exhibit closed, and was slated to be picked up by the local recycling company, I was given permission to take whatever I found interesting. The result was the largest acquisition of electronic stuff I have ever undertaken. And I hope to get videos of that stuff to you guys soon.

We know this thing works, now lets wipe it clean and give it a fresh installation of the last generation of the classic Mac OS.

This is by far the best e-waste box find and one of the best vintage computer finds I've had so far. Lets take a quick look at this thing and see if it at least turns on.

This will be the last video on this stuff for now. I acquire another laptop battery's worth of cells, and give an overview/review of a new charger I got. I also use said charger to test the capacity of each cell.

I accidentally found the actual purpose of those boxes, and what's actually happening to the stuff deposited in them. It's really cool, and I hope it may yield some more awesome vintage electronics for me.

An unexpected Christmas gift. This camcorder produces decent quality video for being a bottom-end unit based on an ancient recording format.

Tried a couple of alternative frying methods this time. Reducing voltage to the Fulham Workhorse 2 works really well - I'm definitely going to do that when I fry CFL lamps, which the Fulham overdrives.

Our old microwave oven bit the dust after 10 years of faithful service. Lets gut it out examine the parts.

NOTE: Microwave ovens are extremely dangerous to toy around with, either as a whole unit or in parts. Simply putting your hands in the wrong place inside one, even unplugged, can result in injury or death. Heed my warnings as I explain them in this video. Be curious, but be careful.
