  • По озёрам Лепельским на велосипеде. Часть четвёртая: эхо прошедшей войны

    Просыпаемся мы, и грохочет над полночью

    то ли гроза, то ли эхо прошедшей войны...

    Как-то незаметно днёвочка пролетела. Посидел на рассвете с удочкой. Рассвет был просто шикарный, рыба просто с ума сходила - а клевать не хотела. Но на жарёвочку на завтрак всё-таки немного надёргал. Отъелся земляники, побродил по окрестностям. Оказывается, у меня совсем рядом соседи-рыбачки стояли с прицепом-домом. А там и вечер настал...

    Проснулся наутро ещё до будильника, в 04:20. А рассвет-то, рассвет! Повезло мне всё-таки с погодой. Потянулся, сделал чашечку кофе, и собираться по быстрому. Ехать сегодня прилично, 65 км, да и то не факт, что ничего сверху ещё не накрутится. А поезд в 14:52, единственный...

    Вот куда время девается в такие моменты, ума не приложу. Вроде всё быстренько - завтрак соорудил, посуду помыл, снаряжение свернул-сложил - а уже без пятнадцати семь. На семь выезд намечен, а велосипед и не расчехлён даже, рюкзак не спакован. В общем, хватай мешки - вокзал отходит...

    К станции ехать тремя дорогами можно ехать; вдоль Уллы, вдоль Двины по просто по трассе между ними. Постоял на развилке, подумал, и решил вдоль Двины ехать. Давно не видел её, красавицу... И не зря, пожалуй. Очень там дорожки атмосферные, да и сама Двина завораживает видами с обрывистого берега. Проехал мимо очень живописного домика с растущим сквозь террасу деревом, и вкатился на мемориал Узречье, где наши войска в 44-м Двину форсировали. Много, конечно, у нас в Беларуси памятников от Отечественной войны осталось. Но некоторые просто завораживают...

  • I YEET my fridge down the stairs (and fix cars) | Weekly 29

    Over the past week I got up to a wide variety of things. It's weeks like these when I wish I uploaded either more or less often so I could split up the videos, or lump them together and finish a thing in one video. Regardless, I did the following:

    -Timed the Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale

    -Began Aligning the Volvo XC70
    -Investigated the headlight issue on the Goldwing
    -Purchased a new trailer! - I'm probably most excited about this. I've been looking for one for months, and finally found a decent trailer for under 500 bucks. It'll be nice to have the added freedom that it provides.
