  • Thinking About Old YouTube – Who I'd Bring Back

    This video is a bit of a reflection piece. Someone recently asked me: If you could bring back any YouTuber—who would it be? That got me thinking about early YouTube, the creators that meant a lot to me, and the kind of content that used to feel… real.

    I talk about Peter Oakley (geriatric1927) and Terry Roth (zipster08)—two creators from the early YouTube era who left a lasting impression. It’s not just about nostalgia—it’s about remembering the heart that used to be in online communities.

  • Squirrel eating wild strawberries

    I just happened to look out of the window to see a squirrel foraging wild strawberries in our basement door ramp. It spent several minutes there, seemingly very relaxed and happy about the bountiful strawberry crop. Well, now I know why I haven't found that many strawberries to eat! 😄

      We've made several short films, many of them award-winning and we're back to ask for help funding our newest short.

      In the algorithm we trust follows Julia, a simple woman living in her government assigned flat with her mother. Set in the near future, we see a UK that has replaced much of its civil service layer with AI.

      This is a new take on a dystopian world but it's obviously inspired by current world events, we also can't deny taking inspiration from some of the sci-fi classics like A scanner darkly and classic dystopian stories like 1984.

      With your help we can get this film made, over our last few films backers have joined to become part of award winning projects. Hopefully, our past successes will be enough to show you that we can deliver this film and it will be well made, well acted and well produced.
