Here is our recording (heh) of the Spanish found footage horror - [REC] - for the continuing spooky season of 2024, and trying to test Sophie's mettle on how frightening this movie comes across.

Our spooky season 2024 continues as we take a trip up to Hill House, all the way back to 1963 with The Haunting (certainly not the remake with Catherine Zeta-Jones).

The spooky season is upon us once again, and for our first outing in 2024 we're going to church - or not, as the case may be... For Sophie is going to be watching The Omen (from 1976) for the first time, and learn why Damien is not the nice name she thinks it is...

This episode we are taking a look into an '80's fantasy favourite that has passed Sophie by - that being The Neverending Story. But what does she make of it all, and does the movie hold up in Paul's eyes as a fan of similar films such as Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal? Listen it to find out!

We love the Looney Tunes, and with this movie being compared to a live action version of that, we took a chance and sat down to witness what Hundreds of Beavers had to offer with that bold statement!

Bonjourno! This episode is not only about Sophie experiencing Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds for the first time, but also the opportunity for Paul to decide whether this movie still remains his favourite of the director's filmography...

After Sophie experiencing Ridley Scott's 1979 movie Alien for the first time this year (FYI go check out that previous episode), it was uncertain whether we would be covering the release of Alien: Romulus as a follow up. But the stars had aligned and we were able to venture out to the cinema to go and experience the newest installment in the Alien franchise from horror director Fede Álvarez.

The Patreons have Paul take a trip down memory lane with an iconic '90's kids show turned movie from The Rugrats (with Rugrats in Paris: The Movie thrown in for good measure). As Sophie has only seen the show, it seemed a nice change of pace to go with easy going watches that may offer way more that what appears on the surface. So hold on to your diapies babies - we're going in to see if the nostalgia goggles are still functioning...
