- The Substance Movie Review
Summerween anyone? Yes, it's a horror movie review in July, and what a delight it is to get Sophie's thoughts on Paul's favourite movie of 2024, The Substance - starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid.
This episode is in place of the annual themed birthday special we've had since we started the show, but we wanted to release it as we felt it a worthy discussion of body horror, gender politics, and the price of fame. Hope you enjoy, and we'll speak to you soon!

Jimmy Stewart sabotage, 007 shots fired, and the rush of the Mt. Rushmore scene are just a few of the topics brought up in the recording, so be sure to listen in to what we have to say on another Cary Grant classic!

We went to the cinema a few weeks ago to see the new movie Hurry Up Tomorrow starring Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd). This is an episode we recorded with fresh thoughts on the opening 'WEEKEND', but delayed in delivering due to Ani-May scheduling.
Was the movie what we expected? Did we end up talking more about music than visuals? And do our mics sound different?? Listen in to find out!

We're going for a more modern(ish) release of an anime movie that we're both seeing for the first time, and one that more aligns with Sophie's criteria of what an anime should be. This is our review of Josee, The Tiger and the Fish.

45 min - Princess Mononoke Movie Review
There are so many great movies in the Ghibli catalogue, and this may well be one of the best from Miyazaki?
