College Football Week 10 is in the books! We're talking James Franklin stuck in re-runs, why we're the only people questioning Lincoln Riley's job status, if it matters that Miami doesn't believe in defense, Clemson returning to the rest of the pack, fair-weather Michigan fans, Carson Beck won't stop turning the ball over, the possibility of a BYU-Colorado Big 12 title game, what happens if Boise State loses, and the Ashton Jeanty map of imperialism. Enjoy!
College Football Week 9 is in the books (forgive the delay)! We're talking NFL Hail Marys, World Series grand slam walk-offs, Grayson McCall's retirement, player safety at the college level, service academy domination, Clemson; the service academy of the ACC, do we believe in Deion now, is Indiana Big 10 title game bound, Rich Rod finding his fourth wind, Notre Dame's disrespect for the troops, and why the key to making the Playoffs is to not play in a conference champion game. Enjoy!
College Football Week 8 is in the books! First we give it up for the 2024 WNBA Champion New York Liberty, make sure it's understood no one should ever question Mike Tomlin again, then for the college ball we're talking firing season as the first round of coaches have been let go, how throwing bottles on the field is the way to get what you want in Texas, should Georgia be #1 again, will three ACC teams end conference play undefeated, can BYU run the Big-12, how many more losses can Bama endure, are we pretty much set on who our Heisman finalist are, who is the most disappointing team in the country (not named Florida State), who is the biggest surprise (besides our ranked Army and Navy), our weekly Enviborment check, and a slight gripe with the BET Awards. Enjoy!
College Football Week 7 has been in the books! We react to the surprise retirement of Tony Bennett then for the football we're talking Ohio State-Oregon, the nine quarters of bad Bama football, one thought for every team we think can make the playoff, checking the temperature of some coaching seats (we'd like to start a Lincoln Riley conversation), a few other notable Week 7 results, the best team in the country no one is talking about, will Notre Dame allow us to get an undefeated Army-Navy game, and does anyone really want to be #1. Enjoy!
College Football Week 6 is in the books! We're talking all the craziness from the weekend slate but starting with a quick NFL note (how the league is handling the scarcity of good white quarterbacks), a WNBA playoff update, then for the college football; our updated 12-team playoff bracket, how good is Vanderbilt, who is going to stop Indiana, how Ohio State lost a better QB to Syracuse, how many QBs will Michigan turn to only to not have them throw any passes, and is Cal the best place in the country to watch a college football game. Enjoy!
College Football Week 5 is in the books! We're talking the Matthew Sluka/NIL story at UNLV, the WNBA playoffs (non CFB moment of the weekend), has anything really changed in our projected 12-team playoff, the two wildest finishes of the weekend (UGA-Bama & V-Tech-Miami), our Heisman house (how many losses can Colorado endure and Travis Hunter still win it), how many of the remaining unbeaten teams are actually good, the best of the Week 5 slate, and previewing next week as GameDay inexplicably heads to Berkley for an ACC matchup as old as time; Cal vs. Miami. Enjoy.
College Football Week 4 is in the books! We're talking the over use of replay reviews, fixing mediocre-level officating, the rapidly rebuilding Pac 12, a quick NFL note, an updated forecast of our 12-team playoff, a brief stop at the Travis Hunter Heisman House, the best of the Week 4 slate, and a brief Bama/Georgia preview for this coming weekend. October is about to be loaded! Enjoy.
College Football Week 3 is in the books! We're talking the weirdness happening at UGA (on and off the field), the arrival of Arch Manning, the temperature of a couple coaching seats, Kendrick doing the Super Bowl apparently turning everyone into huge Wayne fans, and of course “Sun Glasses at Night versus Hat Off Indoors” Part 2. Enjoy.
College Football Week 2 is in the books! Before our weekly CFB rundown, we're talking the suspicious lack of coverage around playoff locks, the Indiana Fever (it's almost as if we let non sports fans hijack the conversation), a brief look at some interesting NFL topics, and a great time for American tennis. Then we start our college ball talk starting with Notre Dame kindly showing themselves out of the CFP discussion, is Bama back within reach of the rest of the SEC, passing out Heisman House evictions after just one week, Cuse vs G Tech for the top of the ACC (and no this isn't basketball season), and Iowa somehow both ruining the under but still losing the game. Enjoy.
College Football Week 1 is in the books! We're talking FSU's continued fall, an annual game of is Miami back, our newest segment (since people kept stealing our old ones) we introduce “Glory and Shame”, projecting Travis Hunter's NFL stock, can Nebraska contend for the Big 10, checking in on that Clemson stock per Dabo's instructions, Florida losing recruits on their own field, and who made Biff Poggi put sleeves on!? We are so back! Enjoy.
