This is it y'all, the episode you have been waiting for, for a long time. Today we're going to talk about the famous and beloved zombie plants that we love to hate and you love to love. They're the best, they're the worst and we can't get enough of them.

Today we cross a major finish line! This is our final set of Leader introductions for Arcs base game! After this, we start venturing off into the great unknown of the Blight Reach Campaign, but first we have to tell about two of our favorite Leaders of the whole set! And who better to join us to noted Leder Games fanatic, Lord of the Board.

This week all your questions about the upcoming 7th SCPT Twilight Imperium Patreon tournament will be answered. The important news is that you can sign up for the first games on SEPTEMBER 18TH at 15:00 UTC/11:00AM Central Time. Also if you are interested in playing in the tournament this year I recommend last week's episode also if you haven't listened to it yet.

It's finally here! We're ready to announce our SEVENTH annual Twilight Imperium Patreon Tournament. We'll go in depth on the details, but head to the discord to ask us more questions and we'll follow up in next week's episode. We're also excited to announce our intent to do an even dumber idea than a TI tournament, a tournament for Blight Reach Campaign Arcs! How do we have time for all of these events? Honestly, I wish I knew...

This week we're back with friend of the show, Tom Brewster of Shut Up and Sit Down! Listen as we turn the corner on three more of the arcs leaders and dig even further into what makes Arcs a unique strategy game. These three leaders really showcase the different styles of Arcs leaders with interesting abilities, obvious applications, and one of them is just kind of bogus. You'll love it! Also stay tuned next week for the imminent announcement of PATREON TOURNAMENT 7. You will not want to miss that.

The Galactical Council is still letting us cool down a bit from GenCon and some travel that followed, so this week we're taking it easy and letting you in on the big project we have planned for NEXT year. We want to host a series of North American Twilight Imperium events IN PERSON. We've been teasing this for a while, but 2025 finally feels like the year we can make it happen. We want 6 tournaments around the US and Canada that all play into one Championship match, and we want to put as much effort in as we can to bringing those games to the global audience! We'll film the 6 semi-final matches in each of the different cities, as well as the Championship for your viewing pleasure! Tune in for more info!!

We're back with more of our Gen-Con coverage from this year. We've got two excellent conversations with wonderful people talking about new games. First up we have Nick Brachmann talking about his new game Swarm! It's heavily inspired by Pikmin and we're very excited for the potential future fun. Following that we have the thing you really waiting for, our first conversation about the new Root Expansion with Joshua Yearsley. It sounds wild y'all.

Come see Hunter perform in Portland!

This episode is not for the faint of heart! It is actually BOTH OGA and SCPT segments of the back-to-back live shows held at the Helium Comedy Club in Indianapolis, IN during the week of GenCon. Special guests Anica Cihla (https://x.com/anicacihla) and Jake Michels (https://woodlandwarmachine.podbean.com/) join us to improvise some game designs, and EJ Sanders joins us to read your board gaming horror stories. There are swears words and much much worse in this episode, so please don't listen to this with your family.

The Galactic Council finally did us a solid, so we brought Sun and EJ Sanders to pretend this show is Old Gamer's Almanac and bring you 15 video games we like. We're friends and this is normal friend energy, okay?
