Welcome back, Sleuths. This case is a wild ride. WILD ride.  Angela Diaz life was going perfectly until she started receiving threatening emails.

Also, Jessica wanted to tell Kendrick Johnson's story but it is a hard one. The idea was to get more eyes on the case because his parents need answers and the case needs to be re-opened. But today, March 10th, just one day before this episode goes up, this case was finally opened again.
We recommend this podcast here that covers the details for this one case because we still want you to hear his story. But make sure you come back to us ;) https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/kendrick-johnson/id541481026?i=1000492748662

As usual, here are the super sources that make us super sleuths! We could not tell these stories without them.

Hi Sleuths!! We are back! We took a week off while Elizabeth dealt with the Texas catastrophe.

BIG NEWS: We have a facebook group to discuss the cases and all the things. Search Spare Time Sleuths Hangout or find the link in the @sparetimesleuths on instagram

This case is powerful. Chanel Miller gave a power victim impact statement.  She was sexually assaulted by Brock Turner and used her voice in response.

We are not experts, just Spare Time Sleuths so we need these resources. We would love for you to check them out.

This is Chanel's statement - if you read nothing else; read this: https://www.sccgov.org/sites/da/newsroom/newsreleases/Documents/B-Turner%20VIS.pdf

Ohhhh.... this case was recorded after hours. It shows. We are an adventure this round.

This case is SAD and historical. It changed a lot and created some of the laws we have today.  But I repeat, it is a tough one. This is the story of the kidnapping of sweet baby Lindbergh or Baby Lindy.

It is also the story of Elizabeth's neighbor's outside dogs.

We LOVE feedback. We are trying to stay up to date on all the things and be the utmost respectful so anything you can tell us about how we are doing ... it is SO welcomed. Reviews welcome, emails would be real exciting for us. Facebook/Instagram: @Sparetimesleuths

We want this to be enjoyable but educational. Funny but respectful.  ANNNDDD we could not do ANY OF THAT without our awesome sources helping us sleuth. Check them out below.

We want to know if this story was what you thought? Ethan Couch pled guilty to the manslaughter of 4 people, while driving intoxicated and served no jail time.

You know we love our sources. They make us into the sleuths we are!

Did you know Elizabeth and Jessica both have weird phobias about medicine? We do. So Elizabeth told us about the Tylenol Murders!

Hi Sleuths, welcome back.

This week Jessica and Elizabeth had an adventure. But this case is for our people who loved The Watcher, it’s a weird one that’s pretty parallel to that weird one!

Hi Sleuths, this is a sad one. Elizabeth tells Jessica about Ashley and Lauria and their disappearance.

You know we love our sources!

Elizabeth watched Hell in the Heartland documentary and we cannot recommend it more.

Hi Sleuths! Jessica tells the story of Tex McIver this week. It is a complicated one. We cannot wait for you to hear it and share what you think happened.

Additionally, this episode we want to say that we shared some things that were part of a confusing statement that came from Tex McIver's camp during the investigation. Jessica called it sleazy, stupid and selfish in the episode but want to be clear here, that we also know it is harmful. Doing a podcast about people is messy and we want to make sure we handle each case properly.

As always, please check out our sources. They are the real MVPs.

Hi Sleuths,

Happy New Year's eve! Elizabeth did what she does best in this episode.... make Jessica so torn about the case. It's a good one. If you don't know this story, you will love it.

If you want to know all the things, visit our sources. We say it every week but they are the reason we are able to sleuth and put together these episodes for you. Show them some love if you decide to go down the rabbit hole.
