The 1920s were a time when actresses and adventures, were one in the same. Glen and Bessie were a newlywed couple in 1928, and seeking to gain some fame and notoriety, embarked down the Colorado River, for their honeymoon adventure. When about halfway through their trip, they vanished, creating one of the most enduring unsolved mysteries in American History. 

On the morning of August 9th, 1975, the bodies of a male and female were found twenty-five-miles east of Sumter, South Carolina. This would start a forty-four-year-long mystery into the identification of the two and what happened to them.

John George Haigh grew up in a conservative household cloistered by his parents and their religious values through the Plymouth Brethren Church's teachings. As he aged into adulthood though he abandoned many of the aspects taught to him from the Church resulting to petty theft and moreover forgery. When he realized that everyone, he stole from went running you the police, Haigh began to devise a devious plan to avoid being arrested ever again.

Amina and Sarah Said, were two young amazing women with ambitions of becoming doctors after high school. Amina was eighteen years old, and Sarah was seventeen; when their father, Yaser Abdel Said, murdered them in the back of his taxicab in what was dubbed an 'honor killing' for the girls having American boyfriends. Yaser went into hiding after the murders, but he couldn't hide forever.
