There is nothing more inspiring than a 97 year old World War II Veteran Marine who spent most of his life serving our country continuing to do so by writing children's books that bring joy, laughter, unity, love and peace to the world. His life lessons of growing up in MIssissippi during the great depression with his best friends being "colored folks" has led him to desire to inspire others to become "color blind."  His book "Oscar The Mouse" was written before the unfortunate racial tension escalated in America began but it will be an asset for parents and teachers to use to help children overcome their fears of what they don't understand and have judged based on what they see rather than who someone is.  Sam's kickstarter is helping him to raise funds to publish the book.
