This week on Speak Your Perspective, the crew kick things off with the usual weekly catch-up, reflecting on life, and with Remembrance Day upon us SB takes a moment to pay respect to a particular Sikh soldier and a few ancestors of his own. Many thanks to those who've served and sacrificed for their countries. Then it's on to sports talk: the Toronto Blue Jays' tough World Series loss and how the city's feeling in the aftermath. What's next for the Jays? Will Bo Bichette stick around? The crew discuss (44:55). With the holiday season around the corner Starbucks has released a new cup stiring up a frenzy amoungst coffee lovers. The "bearista frenzy" is here and the crew touch on it momentarily (58:49). Pop culture gets it's turn next as the crew react to the newly released Michael Jackson biopic trailer. Early thoughts, excitement, and a few hot takes (1:10:53). Shifting back to some sports SB shares some UFC news as the FBI has gotten involved with some possible fight tampering, as this comes off the heels of the recent NBA gambling concerns (1:29:25). That news also bridges the convo to a few minutes addressing the recent cancellation of the Jake Paul Gervonta Davis boxing match that was scheduled for Nov 14th (1:40:15). Bun's Bets are up next as we check in on his NFL picks, wins, and near-misses. To round off another fun episode Bun gives us another music pick for the week coming from hometown artist Thelonious featuring Buffalo's own Conway the Machine before SB wraps things up with the always-entertaining Scamma of the Week. Tune in, turn us on, and as always Speak Ur Perspective. Enjoy!

SB is outta town but the show must go on as Bun, Face, and Pree hold it down. They start out as usual with a catch-up of their weeks — the highs, the lows, and some unexpected moments that kept life interesting. Then it's time for Bun's Best Bets, where Bun breaks down his top NFL picks and predictions for the Sunday ahead. The tone shifts as we honor the life and legacy of neo-soul legend D'Angelo, reflecting briefly on his impact on music, soul, and the culture and it triggers a conversation as to whether they'd publicly share similar news if they were battling something themselves. Sticking with music Bun also drops his music pick of the week, putting you on to the Caribbean wave with Prince Swanny and his new release "Saint". And of course, they close out with everyone's favorite segment Scamma of the Week, exposing who tried it (and failed) in hilarious fashion. Tap in with and Speak Ur Perspective, real talk deserves a real platform. Be sure to hit the like, subscribe, and notification buttons as well. Enjoy!

In this episode of Speak Ur Perspective, the crew start out with some high energy as they get right into the big win from Toronto Blue Jays over the New York Yankees and what this may mean for the rest of the playoff push. They share a bit of how their weeks went before taking a quick break and coming back with some takes on whether it's ok to be wearing Yankee hats living in Toronto and how they see the hip-hop versus between Cash Money and No Limit Records playing out in a few weeks time. Who really ran the late '90s? And will win this one? They debate. SB's got a book reference, and Bun highlights 'Misery Loves Company' a recent release from Canadian rapper Northsidebenji. Plus, SB shares some perspective on UFC 320 and Alex Pereira's dominant victory. To wrap it all up, the crew gets a little personal, reflecting on moments when they've "lost their minds." This week the crew welcomes back fellow podcaster, producer, creative, and digital strategist Corey Kareem to fill in while SB is still away. Things get spicy early as the crew question Corey's perspective as someone who grew up outside of Toronto's core, after he compares Toronto to London. As they transition to the second segment they share some thoughts on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander being celebrated in his hometown of Hamilton Ontario, and receiving the key to the city. In addition to congratulating him it triggers a conversation where they also speak on his choice in partner, and whether living in Canada influenced it (34:35). Sticking with sports they take a few minutes to highlight the special run the hometown baseball team Blue Jays have been on, and local tennis talent Victoria Mboko winning the National Bank Open after defeating US star Naomi Osaka (46:04). Before moving past sports they share some views on American track and field athlete Sha'Carri Richardson being in the news after an airport incident where she was captured on security camera hitting her boyfriend. They then dissect when, if, and how it's ok for a man to ever put hands on a woman (53:05). In their relationship topic for the week Pree asks the guys what the equivalent would be for them when it comes to men getting flowers for a female, this then launched an interesting conversation where they discuss double standards in society. (1:11:43). In the last segment they have some fun as Corey introduces his new game '3 Questions' Conversation Cards for Over Thinkers. He hits Bun, Face, and Pree with some really good questions from his game which will leave you thinking. Enjoy!

With SB out of town the crew welcome a friendly face to the room, brand owner of First King Clothing Mr. Scotland. He joins Bun, Pree, Face, and from behind the scene Knots, who starts out this episode with a lengthy yet crazy story about his recent travels (10:20). They take a well deserved beak and come back with a few stories about previous years celebrating Toronto Carnival aka Caribana, Bun not liking soca music, and whether side bags/murses are ok for men in 2025 (42:23). Following the second break it gets real interesting as they discuss Shannon Sharpe's dismissal from ESPN, former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau allegedly dating pop superstar Katy Perry, and Mr. Scotland shares a legendary dating story you don't want to miss (1:21:15). Buckle up cuz this episode gets more turbulent than a Flair flight but it's filled with lots of humour. Enjoy!
