Julien Owens of the King Julien Podcast joins the gang for a second-straight week to talk about the battle between the students and the University of Texas over the Eyes of Texas fight song before talking about the NBA Finals on "Lighten the Fuck Up" and Space Jam 2 critics during Is This Your King? 

Then they end the show with a SERIOUSLY heated debate about Will Smith. 

Zip goes full baseball mode this week, as he talks about the spectacular mash-off that was the MLB's home run derby, before talking about the Houston Astros not participating in the MLB All-Star game despite having some selections. Then, he discusses the Yankees comeuppance against the Houston Astros courtesy of Jose Altuve despite the Stros narrowly avoiding the sweep against the Bronx Bombers. Finally, he gets into the Astros prospects for the second half of the baseball season before jumping into the MLB removing some rules changes after the 2021 season.

Tre Blanco (if he can remember) and Sous Boy Davidson return to break down the Cowboys roster position by position ahead of training camp and touch on a few recent developments with the Boys. The ending of this pod is something to behold as well for reasons not going to be spoiled here. 

With Austin Brezina and Daniel Davidson out this week, D.R. and Terrell are joined by Julien Owens and Mariana Ovalle to discuss the details behind Rachel Nichols' racist remarks towards ESPN colleague Maria Taylor and the culture at ESPN which fostered them. 

Then Terrell goes on an extended rant against Stephen A. Smith during "Is This Your King" prompting Julien to declare it the greatest Is This Your King ever? And if you think that's fire, we're not even telling you about all the smoke Mariana brought with her in return to the pod.

Back by popular demand and featuring Zip from H is for Hell, the fellas break down the all-time great sitcom moms by giving each of their top-five lists which have more than a few surprises. 

Tre Blanco subs in for Austin Brezina as the fellas discuss the fallout with the Portland Trailblazers hiring former Detroit Pistons star Chauncey Billups as head coach following the resurfacing of the rape allegations against him from 1997. They also briefly touch on Bill Cosby's release, and finally some long-overdue criticism of the Academy Awards and the Olympics during "Is This Your King?"

Quite a bit of Clint Capela talk on this fourth of July weekend episode. Plus former Houston Rockets forward Giannis Antetokounmpo gets a good amount of talk due to his injury affecting the NBA playoffs. Oh wait, he's not a former Rocket....hmmmmm....

Zip discusses the Houston Rockets being so bad at basketball only to end up with pick number two and yet he seems happy about the results because it wasn't a total disaster. Then he moves onto the hottest team in baseball, the Houston Astros, finally taking control of the AL West and the continued enforcement of MLB's new checks on pitches using illegal substances on the mound.

Oh and he talks about the NBA playoffs again this time without lying and saying it has a Houston tie. 

In the first of our Friday double-header (completely D.R's fault that an episode didn't get uploaded), Zip talks about the Astros hot bats, injuries, and bullpen issues and then he briefly touches MLB's latest scandal with the retraction of a story claiming multiple big-market baseball teams cheated. After that, he starts a feud with Joe Buck and immediately praises him afterward for his work on Brockmire. 

Finally, he closes with baseball's other issue with enforcing their foreign substance policy against pitchers and former Houston players in the NBA playoffs which was really just a cover to talk about the NBA Playoffs despite the Houston Rockets not being in it.
