  • TYLER CLARK
It was a blessing to speak with someone who is so passionate about their faith, their journey, and their calling! Tyler is a creator by nature, specifically a painter. She uses her art, which includes real hair yarn, to promote color inclusivity and self-love amongst Black women and men. During our 45 minute conversation, we had a great lengthy chat about 1.) faith and spirituality, 2.) bad breakups leading to healing and breakthroughs and 3.) the importance of self-love, self-care and self-forgiveness. Listening to Tyler, your own personal faith will be LIT ON FIRE with passion and a tremendous amount of self-belief. Oh by the way, did I mention Tyler is TWENTY-SEVEN and was able to quit her 9-5 to pursue her now dream-turned-reality!? YOU GO GIRL

  • JORDYN CALHOUN
Jordyn Calhoun is a business owner, mental health advocate and mother. I’ve been familiar with Jordyn since high school and she was even kind enough to come to one of my college basketball games in Alabama! She’s a very rare type of person to come across-EXTREMELY kind, intelligent, passionate, and the true definition of free spirited. Jordyn isn’t afraid to be herself and thankfully that showed during this recording! We chatted about 1.) motherhood, 2.) protecting our Black men, 3.) advocating for mental health, and 4.) the importance of traveling. I had so much fun during this episode and am excited for you all to hear it! Josh is everything you’d want your own son to be. Intelligent. Funny. Handsome. A stand up guy. Very kind. I can go on! I enjoyed my conversation and tome with Josh and learned so much from him. In this episode you’ll hear about 1.) his journey from being a high school athlete to choosing track and field at UK 2.) how certain experiences back home led him to living his purpose and settling down in Kentucky and 3.) his opinion on racism and the current state of America. • ISAIAH LAMB: Pro basketball player, personal trainer & biz owner
Isaiah Lamb has one heck of a story! I’m grateful he came on SYT! to share it. Isaiah grew up in homelessness with his parents and siblings, all while going to school and playing basketball at an extremely high level. He suffered two ACL’s tears: one in 9th grade, one in 12th. All of his scholarships went out the window, except a few. He graduated from Marist, is now playing overseas, is a personal trainer during the off-season, a business owner, and is a man of service! I’m excited for you all to hear Isaiah’s episode! Thanks for tuning in!! Make sure to RATE, REVIEW, and SUBSCRIBE! @fitlikelamb (YouTube & IG)|@thelambshow (YouTube)

  • Tim F. Bryson: Director of Student-Athlete Career Development @ University of Maryland
I had so much fun recording this episode and listening to a proud, yet humble, spiritually, kind, educated Black man SPEAK HIS TRUTH! Tim, like myself, is from Ohio, had private school privileges, played sports, and traveled. We also notice the economic and educational disparities between blacks/other POC and whites, and are doing our part to solve that problem. Tim is also a PhD student at the University of Maryland, where he’s the Program Director of Student-Athlete Career Development, furthering his education to better aid him in tackling these issues.

  • CHRISTIAN STRAKA: Adidas Runners Global Mindset Coach
Christian Straka is a former tennis player turned Mindset Coach. He discovered his inability to consistently perform at his highest level had nothing to do with the physical aspect of the game, yet his mindset. That discovery sparked curiosity in Christian, so he spent 6 years doing “supervised coaching” before becoming a mindset coach for Adidas Runners and a business owner! Coach Straka is more than well-versed on mindfulness and wellness. Enjoy this episode and learn something! Thank you for listening!
