On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with Grammy-nominated record producer Phil Geoffrey Bond to discuss the release of the incredible new album “The Billy Joel Project.” After years of focusing on “Sondheim Unplugged” concerts and albums, Bond returned to a concept from years ago for this new album while officially establishing a name for the stable of storytellers.

The recently established Broadway Ensemble features 11 theatrical performers with nearly 50 combined Broadway credits. The cast tackles 24 songs from the iconic catalog of Bill Joel songs in a reverential, but a musical theatrely unique way.
