On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with Broadway favorite Haven Burton, who is currently co-starring in the Paper Mill Playhouse’s production of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” as Ursula.

From growing up as a devoted Ariel fan to relishing the opportunity to dive into the deep backstory of the Sea Witch, Haven is having something of a full-circle moment with this show, and one that she is hoping begins her villain era. In addition to talking about all aspects of this show and production, they discuss her more than a decade run of voicing Pokémon characters, most famously Serena.

“The Little Mermaid” is currently scheduled to run through June 29 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.
