He breaks down, revealing the trauma of losing his brother, which shaped his need to make others happy and his drive to succeed. His emotional breakthrough becomes one of the episode’s most powerful moments—showing the heart behind the bravado.

By the end, the recruits are bruised, shaken, but still standing—physically and emotionally battling their own internal warzones.
