In this episode I chat with Darci from Lismore, New South Wales, Australia.
Darci is a neurodivergent adult, diagnosed with ASD as a child - something I have found to be quite rare for women.
We talk about what it was like growing up with a diagnosis, the trauma that created while discussing the pros and cons of early diagnosis vs late diagnosis.
Darci also talks about her mission to show the world that just because you're Autistic, it doesn't mean you can't travel the world and do the things you really want to. A few days after interviewing Darci, she set off to Japan for a once in a lifetime adventure, documenting the challenges (relating to her ASD) along the way.
Thank you for chatting with me, Darci. You are an amazing human and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know you.
If you have any questions for Darci, please pop them in the questions section below and I'll be sure to pass them on for you.
