Superstar WWE Wrestler Ettore "Big E" Ewen was in The Freak Nation Sunday night. Big E is becoming intertwined with NASCAR, a big leap from a guy who drove a Geo Metro when he was in college. The way he described it the car was the definition of a "hooptie." But there's very little that's hooptified in Big E's life now. Listen.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver AJ Allmendinger is driving full-time in the series this year. He's a longtime Friend of The Freaks and it was another fun conversation in Daytona where AJ finished second in the Xfinity race. Allmendinger led three times on the night, including 13 of the last 15. But a late charge by eventual winner Austin Hill found Hill inches ahead of Allmendinger as the final caution flag came out. 2021 Lucas Oil 250 Motocross Champion Jett Lawrence got a great start on the 250 East Supercross title Saturday night. Lawrence won the East opener in Minneapolis chasing down Austin Forkner who grabbed a holeshot lead at the start of the race. Lawrence's season, in fact, will be a comeback. He was injured days before the season started sending him to the sidelines with broken ribs when he was preparing for the 250 West series. Now the Honda rider is starting over. Listen.

NASCAR Truck Series Driver Hailie Deegan finished 17th Friday night in the truck series season opener at Daytona. Deegan is fighting for a great seasoon that could launch her into an Xfinity ride next year. Deegan had to battle last year to learn the truck and the tracks without the "luxury" of practice as NASCAR joined the world battling COVID and costs. Listen...

Petter & Oliver Solberg Team for Race of Champions Title

2022 Race of Champions Champions Petter and Oliver Solberg were in The Freak Nation right after their title winning winter run in the Race of Champions. The Solbergs represented Norway in the ROC Nations Cup competition in Sweden. The Father-Son team surprised many with the win. Some called it stunning. Petter's won World driving titles in Rallying and Rallycross. Oliver is just getting his global career underway.
