Supercross Rider Josh HIll was in retirement testing an all-new electric motorcycle when he got a call from a friend the day before Christmas. There was good news and bad on the call. First a fellow rider was hurt in a bad testing crash just a couple days before. The good? Team Tedder/Monster Energy/Lucas Oil/KTM Racing wanted Hill, a native of Yoncalla, Oregon, to be a fill-in rider for Benny Bloss. HIll says it'll take a couple events to get up to speed again. 2016-2017 NASCAR/ARCA Menard West Series Champion Todd Gilliland is moving up in class this year when he jumps into the NASCAR Cup Series. Gilliland is a second generation driver. His father David raced in the Cup Series more than a decade ago. In 2021, Todd earned his second career Truck series win in his fourth full season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. 2022 Rolex 24 Winner Simon Pagenaud was part of a driving team at Meyer Shank Racing that included Helio Castroneves, Tom Blomquist & Oliver Jarvis. The team battled throughout the race especially in the last hour when Helio Casroneves got in the car and had to fight off Ricky Taylor for the win. It was the second win for Meyer Shank Racing. 2022 Rolex 24 LMP3 Winner Gar Robinson dominates the LMP3 category that made its debut last season. He won the first race at Daytona, the 2021 LMP3 championship and all but one of the races in between those two headlines. Robinson, in fact, defended his 2021 class win at the Rolex. San Diego Supercross Winner Chase Sexton is building a strong season. After his win in San Diego he finished on the podium in the second race at Anaheim. We caught up with Sexton as he waited in his car to get into Anaheim Stadium. He needed to get his COVID test results before going into the stadium. Supercross 250sx West Challenger Hunter Lawrence has two consecutive podium finishes in Oakland and San Diego to sit second in the 250 standings. He was runner-up last year in the West Championship but he's battling to move up to the top step this year. Hunter planned on running in the East Championship this year but a last minute crash by his brother Jett saw him step into his brother's plans and run in the West. So far, he's making the most of it!
