NHRA President Glen Cromwell returned to The Freak Nation Sunday night. Cromwell climbed through the ranks to run the largest drag racing sanctioning body anywhere. Cromwell talked about the nice spot drag racing finds itself with three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart announcing plans for a powerful drag racing team next season. 2021 IndyCar Champion Alex Palou won his championship at the Long Beach Grand Prix Sunday then came into The Freak Nation before disappearing into a celebratory party after the final race of the season. Palou finished fourth at Long Beach but that was all he needed to take home the title. He earned the championship in only his second year in IndyCar.
