“You’re no hero,” the DCC RPG rulebook iconically says. “You’re an adventurer: a reaver, a cutpurse, a heathen-slayer, a tight-lipped warlock guarding long-dead secrets.” While our characters may be seeking gold and glory caked in the blood and filth of the weak, as players, it can be extra fun and satisfying doing it all for a good reason. Whether you’re buying raffle tickets at Drinking & Dragons, pledging support to Extra Life campaigns, raising money for charities through Lawful Good Gaming, helping David Baity raise money for kitties in need, or helping support the hard work Jon Marr does for us all in his annual campaign, raising money for good causes while gaming is a long-standing DCC tradition…

Tonight we burn ability points with a man who’s been with DCC from the beginning. Brad McDevitt has worked with Goodman Games since the 3.5 era and has contributed art to the core rulebook, X-Crawl, Mutant Crawl Classics, Age of Cthulhu and a ton of work for many other companies as well. He also runs his own clip-art business and moonlights as a ninja. We’ll talk with Brad, try to make Judge Jen tell us things about the DCC Annual and just generally do our best to annoy the Goad…. All this and more on this episode of Spellburn!

Normally, we would go to Tavern talk and talk about our recent gaming but every minute of this episode is precious, so we are going to skip it and go right to the meat of the episode… SUMMON EMAIL…
