Directly after making friends in unexpected places, our newfound group of adventurers are off! To... go get paper? At least, that was the goal until young Melwyn begins getting dragged by an invisible figure. A fight breaks out in the street outside the inn, and the party works together to retrieve their new friend. Showing off their respective skill in combat, we get some insight into the characters: it seems Oddyn is skilled in using her warhammer (and teeth), Melwyn is a practitioner of a bestowed arcana, Id has picked up some new tricks along his travels, and Myla can... still cast faerie fire...

After a few months of in game time, we pick up right where we left off! Well, sort of. Id and Ari have been following the trail they picked up at the end of arc 1, trying to locate other experiments like Id who made it out of the labs before it's demise. This trail leads them to Khindir, a smaller city within the country of Reine, home to a large arena for sport-like events. Meawhile, Myla's work with the destroyed labs has led her on the search for a possible contact. As far as she knows, this person resides in Kindhir, and she begins her trek with Zander into the city. Once in the city, the duo run into Id and Ari, immediately catching up on their current goals. Off in the distance, we meet Oddyn and Melwyn, both entering the city via airship in an attempt to connect with some of Melwyn's past. After some exploration and sparring, the two groups meet each other, bonding over the possible purchase of paper and the promise of adventure!

Hold onto your honey pots! In this exciting Spells and Whistles special, we take on HONEY HEIST! After alerting the Museum of Natural Histor-Bee's security team of the fishy business currently happening, our URSID ursids do what they can to obtain the last of three honey samples needed from the museum proper. Droen reiminisces on some old times with crunchy honey, Marley thinks on their toes as they prepare for their upcoming safe break, and Jerbear becomes...... a social media influencer? In this episode, we trail this motley crew as they work together to cover each other's trails and escape (hopefully) undetected. Hold onto your honey pots! In this exciting Spells and Whistles special, we take on HONEY HEIST! Our cast takes on what it's like to be a a bear in a world actively working against them, as they maneuver their way through the city. WE meet our crew below an undisclosed city and countryside, where tunnels of cement reinforced walls and harsh fluorescent lights illuminate the halls of Bruin Bunker. While most of the details are classified, here’s what I can tell you: three agents that have been contracted to the Unified Republic of Syndicates for Intellects and Delinquents, or URSID, are just leaving a debriefing of their latest commission. Their assignment, to infiltrate the city proper and sneak into the Museum of Natural Histor-Bee’s latest exhibit on the day of it’s public debut: Honey’s Narrative. There, they must collect three samples of different honeys and escape undetected by both the museum’s security and it’s visiting crowds, delivering them to a long time council of URSID named Mooch. Follow our motley crew as they attempt to flawlessly execute this mission!

In the thrilling conclusion of Arc 1, our adventurers finally face off against Kaleh and the clones! Strikes are dealt, both divine and normal. Pits are filled, both purposefully and accidentally. In this episode, Myla, Id, and Arg'nong make their way out of a crumbling and imploding lab with Ari and some interesting new gadgets in tow. While trying to figure out and fix what cruel fate is happening to Ari, Arg'nong recieves a cup of wormgrog with a string attached...counting to 10. The group makes their way down to a small town at the base of the mountains and Myla sends a message to the Shroud. Having recently arrived at Id's old stomping grounds, we find the party entering a situation unlike anything they've seen before. With corpses lining the halls of this deserted laboratory, Id reveals his past to the party. Myla and Arg'nong do their own kinds of investigating, uncovering hidden truths about the attacker(s), information on the experiments taking place in this lab, and whether or not the lab's cafeteria has apples. Meeting a new ally, the crew explores this dangerous terrain and uncover more information about the Kalehs and their intentions.

Our party finds themselves cornered by a garbage monster on the island of trash created by the Votaran citizens on their way to try and follow the footsteps of Id's would-be assassin. Arg'nong shows off some new spells and emotions, Myla finds her true colors in being Arg'nong's partner in crime, and Id sizes up the threat and realizes this may not go well for them if he doesn't do something soon. Returning from our podcast's holiday hiatus, we find the party looking to uncover the secrets behind their surprise assassin. Their ventures in the underwater streets of Votara prove to be fruitful, uncovering truths not yet made known to the party. Together, they piece together the mysteries of who this man was, where he was heading, and what his intentions were. With some additional loot added to Myla and Id's arsenals, Arg'nong makes his first big purchase: a toy dog. Follow the trio on their endeavors, especially as they embark on the next step of their journey: leaving the waters of Votara and following the trail of their foe.
