Lately, I’ve been seeing the same jokes everywhere. “Maybe I’ll just start an OnlyFans.” “I might as well become a stripper.” And I get it. People are feeling pressure right now. But I had to be honest about what I’m actually seeing behind the scenes.

In this episode, I break down the gap between perception and reality when it comes to the adult industry. I’m not speaking from headlines or assumptions. I’m speaking from real conversations, real patterns, and real experiences that most people never see.

I talk about what it actually takes to sustain this kind of work, the emotional labor, the instability, the safety concerns, and the long-term consequences that don’t get mentioned in viral posts or articles. I also share what’s happening right now with platform changes, age verification, content restrictions, and income shifts, and how those changes are affecting creators in real time.

This isn’t about telling anyone what to do. It’s about bringing awareness to something that is often misunderstood and heavily glamorized.

I also connect this to what I see behind closed doors, especially when it comes to male desire and connection. What people think men want and what they actually respond to are often very different, and that’s something I experience every day in my work.

This is me being honest about where I am right now. Not having all the answers, but choosing to understand myself instead of judging myself.

This episode is my full AVN Week Unfiltered recap with returning guest and cam model Alice Funker, and yes, it gets explicit.

We recorded this after our experience in Las Vegas during AVN Week, the adult industry’s biggest convention and awards show. In the first half, we get into what actually happens behind the scenes when creators attend these events to work. Filming content. Collaborating. Meeting fans in person. Shooting spontaneous scenes between parties and red carpets. The raw parts. The chaotic parts. The parts people don’t see online.

Earlier this month, we unpacked The Fantasy He’d Never Admit to His Girlfriend and talked about identity, ego, and the fear of being redefined. In this episode, I go deeper. I explain why it is not always about how extreme the fantasy is, but about risk, image protection, and perceived safety. From my experience in the adult industry, I’ve seen that many men are not as afraid of rejection as they are of redefinition. They worry about how they will be seen if certain truths come out. I break down why long term relationships often carry identity weight, why fantasy spaces can feel like honesty without consequences, and why some women feel safe enough to unlock confession. I talk about permission, what it really means, and why steadiness matters more than shock value. This is not about endorsing secrecy or cheating. It is about understanding psychology. When a man feels permission, he tells the truth. When he feels risk, he protects his image. I also leave men with a direct question: what would your life look like if you were fully honest?
