Patti is the owner, editor and publisher of the Northwest Observer. The newspaper of record for this part of the world, is part of everybody’s life in northwest Guilford County. We talk about her beginnings, her philosophy and we’re she’s headed. She’s a great conversationalist and someone you need to get to know. Ask anyone who knows her.

Mr. Layton has been the PE teacher at Summerfield    Elementary School for almost 30 years. And this will be his last year. We talk about his legacy, what might be next, and what it’s like being small town famous. I know a lot of teachers, and Mr Layton is my favorite. Never taught either of my kids.
