To start out Zach and Austins birthday month, we begin with one of Zachs favorite movies, the cinematic behemoth "Titanic." We go over the success of Titanic and the failure of Pearl Harbor, Wendy has never known true love, and of course we talk about Celine Dion.

To end our month of Ghibli, we go over "Kiki's Delivery Service" which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary! We go over the concept of the independent female lead in Miyazaki's movies, we talk about how Kiki created Amazon Prime, and we go over the wonderful town that this movie is set in.

Hey Lets Go! This week we cover Studio Ghiblis first real family picture, "My Neighbor Totoro. Wendy discusses why this is her favorite Ghibli movie as well as one of her favorite movies, Austin asks who you would rather hang out with in the woods, and Zach spills some tea on his love life.

This weekend, we look at Studio Ghibli's film "Castle in the Sky." Austin looks at the glaring similarities between this film and "Atlantis the Lost Empire" as well as "Iron Giant." Wendy is in love with the robots, and Zach wants to join the sky pirates crew.

We begin our dive into early Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazakis first major motion picture "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind." In this episode, Wendy finds the Ohm too adorable, Austin explains himself for not liking this film, and Zach hates Synth music.

We conclude our month of John Hughes with his most important film (in our opinion), "The Breakfast Club." In this episode, we look back at our High School selves, Wendy's inner jock comes out, and we talk about the overall message and how it still hasn't changed, and how it won't be forgotten.

For this Saturday Night Cinema we are discussing another John Hughes classic, "Sixteen Candles." Wendy shares her spicy take on this movie, Zach talks about how much he loves Jake Ryan, and Austin discusses his disdain for the Nerd (Anthony Michael Hall). We also discuss the Long Duck Dong controversy for those of you who are interested in our take on the character.
