Pricing is one of the most commonly asked questions on Social Media and when trying to get your Grooming Salon established this part of the business can be hard to tackle. In my opinion part of it comes down to confidence and the lack fo self worth. I really enjoyed my chit chat with the one and only Stuart Simons. We talked about quite a few subjects including the correct use of colour and the importance of the science behind it all. The title says it all really. But are we right to complain when our clients tell us the wrong instructions. When they bring their dogs to us to be groomed? Should we be spending more time with our clients? I feel we should be educating them more and not expecting them to know our jobs BUT it is us who has allowed this to happen. We ask the clients too many questions when in-fact we should be answering more than asking (after all we are the ones who went to grooming school). I think of it like this: we are guiding them to do what's best for their beloved pets.

I had the absolute pleasure of having a relaxed chat with Reiki Master Mr Rob Fellows. When meeting this man you will be put in a calm sense of being. We chatted about how reiki can help you as a person no matter what you do for a living but we did touch basis on how it can help the professional dog groomer and also our pets. A subject that some may find a bit wacky (but let me just say before you judge Reiki) try it BUT do with your mind open and the willingness to embrace it .
