A while ago I bought a spinner wheel from IKEA because… well, why wouldn’t you?
I haven’t really found a proper use for it until now. So here it is…The Spin The Wheel Podcast with The Edi Johnston Bit.
A random interview with random questions, chosen by the spin of the wheel! 24 questions, (one per each section on the wheel) focussing on everything or maybe nothing from any person’s life, loves and livelihood.
Episode #02 is with the front woman from the most ecological band on the planet, the Weapons of Sound - it's Hannah Jordan!
Hannah has been the inimitable fearless & fabulous front woman of WOS for a number of years and plays everything - including the Kitchen Sink! She has played gigs and done workshops with schools, youth groups, students, bankers, businessmen and has got all of them to realise the importance of teamwork and working together through the medium of hitting some rubbish with some plastic pipes.
She's performed at Buckingham Palace, The Albert Hall, Wembley, Twickenham, the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony, Glastonbury, Reading festival - and that's just in this country! Having travelled throughout Europe, Hannah and the band have spread the message of recycling and reusing rubbish far and wide and continue to do so wherever possible (worldwide pandemic permitting!)
A bandmate and workshop leader with Edi for a number of years, Hannah is also a youth worker in Plymouth and helps young people in her work on a daily basis. Hope you enjoy the chat and natter and work out why "Hannah is Gravy" should be on the next band merchandise!
