The seven books written by CS Lewis tell the tale of a Lion named Aslan, who represents Jesus Christ and what he came to do in our world. Seven families from King's Schools, our sister ministry in Shoreline, just traveled to Mexico to give one family a new beginning. They partnered with Homes of Hope and accomplished the task together in ONE WEEKEND! They spread a lot of paint... and the love of Jesus in beautiful, generous ways. The Hanbergs were one of the amazing families on this adventure. We love them! Channah Hanberg is the VP of CRISTA Media. She and her husband Tyler took their kids too! It was their first mission trip, but Hadley and Dax tell Mom and Dad it won't be their last! 

You will love what inspired all of them to go. I'd love for you to meet the Washburn Fam  - get to know Jules with the big heart and her terrific kids, Avery, Carter, and Lola. Who knows? After getting to know the Washburn fam, you might turn your next milestone into a mission trip!

What are the words that you wanted to hear for so long, and when you hear them your heart just overflows? This is from a special needs mom, and her daughter has autism and doesn't speak very much at all.
