In this episode, I am catching up on what spirit crumbs I’ve been following this summer while you were on the chakra series journey!

I realized I was meant to support others on their healing journey through grief or shadow work and in order to do that, I felt like a death doula course would reinforce my compassion and ability to hold space. I don’t even remember how I actually ended up getting to the point of signing up for a course, but I was definitely following the crumbs! I talked about the community I am launching for processing and integrating grief, identity shifts and life challenges. 

I also talked about how Leo season is particularly potent this year for creativity and connecting with community and soul family. This is partly because the season is bookended by TWO full moons in Aquarius (July 23 & August 22). Both Aquarius and Leo ask us to show up as our authentic self and tap into creativity! While Leo tells us to get in the spotlight, Aquarius encourages us to ask how we can connect to and serve our community. If we put these together, our community can find us and resonate with our authenticity and offerings!

The biggest spirit crumb I’ve followed in the past year was joining the Initiation Circle with Danielle Searancke! The circle is having its first anniversary on August 1 already!! I am a completely different person from that time and am so grateful for Danielle and her support. The community is a constant source of love and spirit crumbs!

In this episode, I had an amazing conversation with Amber Baker that felt like parts of it were channeled! Amber talks about her crown chakra opening and the near death experience that initiated this shift in consciousness. She shares how she connects to Source for her readings and works with her chakras as one complete system.

Amber offers some insight into how we are meant to ascend as humans into a more conscious state and the experiences that can happen when we are on that path. We talk about the connection between the heart and the crown chakra and the subtle ways you can tell when you’re channeling versus when your ego is creeping back in!

This episode really made me feel like I want to be fully immersed in the present moment - and to spend more time talking to Amber!

In Episode 39, I am discussing the basics of the crown chakra. This chakra is our direct connection to Source and unity consciousness. It is about oneness and divinity and is where I believe we channel other beings and from our Higher self. As the final chakra, it tells us that unconditional love and realizing our connection to all beings is the goal of our human spiritual journey. We remember that we have a divine spark that exists in all life.

As with the third eye chakra, there is more of a focus on opening than healing as most of our blocks are just normal human mindsets and limiting beliefs that we need to overcome. Letting go of attachments is central to the crown chakra. 

It is important to remember that all of the chakras work together as one system and in order to maintain balance, we have to address our human needs and spiritual needs equally. It’s easy to stay in the upper chakras once we discover their energy because being a human is hard!

In this episode, Allison Claire is sharing her journey to opening her third eye chakra and following her intuition. She shares about how health issues acted as spirit crumbs leading her to her psychic gifts and some great stories about using her intuition for manifestation.

In this interview, Allison talks about how the third eye chakra awakened for her and what it’s like for her when she receives psychic information clairvoyantly through inner visions. I have experienced a couple of readings with her now and her ability to see details is incredible! Her advice to not try too hard is so refreshing and makes me want to explore in a more relaxed way.

The takeaway from this episode is definitely to follow what you are curious about and what lights you up because it will strengthen your relationship to your own intuition and purpose!

In Episode 37, I am discussing the basics of the third eye chakra. This is where we open to our psychic abilities and connect to our intuition. The third eye chakra is also the center of our clairvoyance, clear seeing, and is where we experience inner vision, dreams and imagination. Once we have awakened our third eye, our perspective shifts to a more spiritual lens and we are able to better discern what is true in this world.

As mentioned in this episode, we all experience this awareness differently and the more we trust our intuition, the more similar experiences we will attract! Testing our intuition with guessing games and dedicating some time to meditation are great ways to open this chakra more.

Our inner wisdom also can be accessed through our third eye chakra and can help us to connect to the guidance of our guides, angels and our Higher Self.

In Episode 35, I am discussing the basics of the throat chakra. This is where we communicate from and speak our truth to the world. The throat chakra asks us to balance listening and talking in our interactions, discerning what needs to be communicated.  

In order to speak our truth, we need to find our authenticity. In order to show up as ourselves, we need to know who that is and what resonates with us. Pay attention to whether you are the same version of yourself in all settings or if you are creating a persona for each group of people you communicate with regularly. 

Creative activities like writing, singing and acting are expressions of the throat chakra and are all great ways to work on healing your throat chakra as well.

In this episode, I am chatting with Amanda DeBernardi, who was my Usui Reiki teacher! She has a beautiful energy of love. She is talking about how self love is at the center of all love that comes from the heart chakra. When we learn to love ourselves, our capacity for love expands!

Amanda also shares her feelings about Reiki being pure love. She has a special place in her heart for Reiki attunements and the intense love that is felt during those ceremonies. I know that I definitely felt that during both of my attunements with her!

Shadow work is also something that Amanda attributes to healing the heart chakra. Learning to love ALL parts of ourselves allows us to integrate and truly feel self love. She really embraces this work and the notion that all healing is self healing.

I talk about abortion at the end of the episode and I give another warning for when I will talk about that part of my journey for anyone who is okay with the other topics.

This is a very vulnerable episode, but one that I have been feeling called to share for awhile. It is important for me to align with my authenticity and share my story. I have alluded to the fact that I have been dealing with a lot in 2021 so far, but haven’t shared any details. Honestly, I had so much going on that I wouldn’t have known where to start. 

I recently decided to write a book as part of my healing journey and a way to share what I have learned along the way. I know that I am meant to walk others through major times of struggle, so I had to dive into grief that I skipped over while I was in survival mode. 

In this episode, I start by talking about my experiences with death and grief at a young age and how there were signs along the way that this was an area that I could really hold space for people. I was thinking about what I could do to better prepare myself for this and ended up enrolling in an online Death Doula certification course that is lighting my soul up in a way I didn't expect!

I share a bit about how my feelings have shifted around my bankruptcy and how I am still on great terms with my former partner. Although I am still walking through some of the healing, these were challenges that have helped me to release some heavy emotions that I was walking around with for awhile.

I talk about my abortion, not in too much detail because I am still in the process of working through grief. I also shared how I've connected with Mary Magdalene and Quan Yin during my healing process around this challenging time.

I was originally going to share these parts of myself after the book was completed, but my soul and guides have been reminding me that people need to hear it now. I will be working on circles and workshops to process and release past versions of yourself.

In Episode 32, I am discussing the basics of the heart chakra. This is where we experience love, gratitude and connection. Part of our journey of the heart is learning to give and receive love freely. Many of us have protective layers around our heart chakras from past hurts.

Forgiveness and compassion are integral to healing this chakra. These are important to direct toward others and ourselves. Whether or not we receive apologies or forgiveness from others, we need to have compassion and forgiveness for our own actions and pain. 

This is a lot easier said than done! However, learning that our heart is the portal to access the Divine within can assist with receiving love for ourselves from within. The heart chakra is the centre of the chakra system, representing the bridge between our lower human chakras and upper spiritual chakras. The heart can transmute our pain into love.
