The shepherds receive a message from the angels. They go to Bethlehem and they find the babe wrapped in swaddling cloths. They went and they found just as the angels told them. Part two of our series on Joy to the World the Lord is Come. Here we take a look at how blessed we are when we allow Jesus to reign over all areas of our lives. Like Jospeh in our text we too need to act in obedience when God asks something from us, or gives us an assignment. There is nothing better than being in God’s Will.

Jesus Christ was born into this world. The angel visited Mary and told her that she would become the mother of Jesus. It all happened as God said.

Pastor Kim will share five ways that each one of us can give God thanks. These five ways are all found within our text - Psalm 100.

Jesus feeds the 4,000 with seven loaves and a few fish.

Jesus heals the multitude and the people glorify the God of Israel. These were Gentiles who were healed and Gentiles who glorified God.

Jesus goes into Tyre and Sidon and a Canaanite woman comes to Him asking Him to heal her daughter who was demon-possessed. Jesus was silent. She continues to ask Him to help her daughter. The disciples ask Jesus to send her away. Jesus honors the woman's faith and heals her daughter.

There are five steps we can take if we would like to experience God's Divine Intervention in our lives. These steps are found within our text here in Matthew 14:22-36. Jesus shows up for His disciples and He shows up for those who need to touch the hem of His garment.

Jesus feeds the 5,000, but in so doing we learn how to care about people like Jesus cared. Follow along with your open Bible.

Divine appoints are found throughout the Scripture. Herod had two very special people come into his life. He rejected them. He killed John the Baptist and feared Jesus Christ. Herod refused to accept the people that God through His grace allowed to come into his life. Don't you make that same mistake - see the people that God brings into your life as divine appointments.
