Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

Right Time~ For those of us that have lived a reasonable length of time on this earth one of the axioms of living that life is that we finally realize that when it is the right time for something to happen, it happens. A child wants what they want, and they want it right now. The term 'wait patiently' is an oxymoron for a 3 year old child. Growing up entails a good deal of waiting for certain things to happen, things that can't be rushed. Perspective of time shows us that wnen that 'good thing' that we have waited (and longed) for finally comes along, we can more often than not see that to try to advance the occurance is most likely a 'fools errand'. One of my favorite descriptive sayings that expresses this idea is, "It does no good to try to teach a pig to sing; It wastes your time, and annoys the pig"! In trying to rush either a developmental or emotional step by skipping over it often means having to go back an do it over  again later in order to gain the full value of what is was supposed to have occurred in the propher order. We are right now in this world at one of those seminal moments when those of us that know about and have waited patiently for an event to happen that will change the world for the better in an amazingly dramatic manner are still waiting. This event is so close that we can almost taste it. Yet this event that will change the world for the better has not yet happened. We believe it past time for it to have occurred, yet it is still not here. Now is the time for us to demonstrate '"the patience of the saints", the patience that passes all understanding, to know that rushing the result will be much worse than letting it happen in it's own time. Waiting patiently is exclusively an adult endeavor, and not for the faint of heart, The reward for this adult activity is almost upon us, and the last thing that you want is to miss by trying to rush it.

In Memorium~ We are entering Memorial Day weekend here in the good ol' U.S. of A., and as with millions of others I am preparing my back yard for a family gathering on Monday. The 10 X 10 shade awning is up, the bar-be-cue is cleaned out and ready. I have a new bag of B & B oak  charcoal, and my lighting chimney ready. The patio is under shade cloth, and the table and chairs are ready for occupation for our Memorial Day festivities. But during this time together with our family we will take a few minutes to remember those that died in the service of our nation, both in the military and not. "We will never forget" is not just a slogan in our family, because even though it was only my father that served during WW2, and did not die in service to our nation, we still honor the men and women that gave "the last full measure of devotion" of which President Lincoln spoke in his Gettysburg address. All war is tragedy, and the wars that have been fought over the centuries in this world have been propogated by the machining of Satan to bring about a one world order under the banner of his kingdom. These wars have killed millions of both combatant and non-combatant people for no good reason other than Satan desires to see the blood and sorrow brought about by his hubris. But this does not change the fact that honorable men and women have paid the price for this prufidy with their lives, given with the sincerity of the innocent, and God will honor those sacrifices of the pure in heart at the proper time of His choosing. So during the good times this weekend with family and friends this Memorial holiday, set aside a few minutes to remember your family, friends and strangers that in good faith gave a blank check to the nations that was cashed with their lives in time of conflict, and remember that what they did was not insignificant in the Grand Plan for the renewal of the world that is soon to take place.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry for our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling, today May 20, 2023 at 10AM PDT. Why did God give two versions of End Time Prophecy to John? What was the purpose of God providing both a Death Road and Life Road plan for bringing this part of human existence to a close? Does End Time Prophecy have anything to do with what Jesus said about how the Kingdom of God affects the plan of salvation that is taught by the Christian church? If so, then how does what Jesus taught His own eyewitness disciples differ from what the Apostle Paul said was the way to eternal life? Find out the answers to these and many other important questions regarding what is the truth about Salvation, Judgment and the Kingdom of God, on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Anticipation~ "Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth." Rev. 3:9 (ESV). Well folks, it seem we are almost there. Almost where, you ask? Isn't everything going on as always? Yes, pretty much. Arn't there wars and rumors of wars still rampant in the world? Yep, you bet! Isn't money becoming worth less than ever, and becoming more difficult to not only earn but actually get from your bank in physical form? Absolutely. Arn't the social norms surrounding the differences between men and women becoming more and more objectified as being out of place in the modern world of sexual identity?  All of these things point to a big change that is taking place not only here in America, but around the world. These changes are relfected in what the 'good people' of the world are doing in fighting back at those that are trying to turn the world upside down, by promoting men participating in women's sports and winning, and people in the government saying that men can actually bare children, in spite of obvious biological differences. And even though all of this is happening, adding a high level of confusion to public discourse, the 'good people' of the world are not having any of it. These Good People that worship God and want the best for their families don't yet know the God that they worship. These Good People believe that what God has said about salvation and eternal life has more to do with belief and grace than knowing who their God really is, and what He/They demand as far as the righteousness of the Kingdom of God is concerned. These Good People are waiting with great anticipation for God to save them, not realizing that it is their own obedience to the Commandments of God and the Testimony of Jesus that brings salvation and Life.

You will gain a new, different, and more complete understanding about what Jesus came to earth to do by understanding that it is His words that He gave His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth, and the words that He gave in the Law and the Prophets in the Old Testament that bring true understanding of salvation, justice, and how to enter the Kingdom of God. Incensed~ Evil (personified) wants the world to be confused about what is actually, factually the truth about everything. People are being taught that gender is amorphous, and is whatever you choose it to be. Grown men are putting on dresses and then saying that they have the right to use a women's public restroom, just because they can do so, and get away with it. I recently watched a video of a 16 year old girl standing before a school board and saying that she and her girlfriends cannot change into their gym clothes for fear that school boys that indentify as female will come into the girls locker room unannounced and see them naked. She said her privacy is being violated, and the school board is deliberately allowing this to happen for fear that some LBTQ ++ group will bring a lawsuit against the school district. Men are competing in womens sports at the highest levels, and of course winning, causing the best women atheletes to be marginalized and lose the victories that are rightfully theirs because of it. The world has turned topsey-turvey, and I am incensed that this is the case. The Truth about these kinds of things, and many others as well, is simple to see, for those that choose to look through clear eyes. Truth is (indeed) singular and absolute, and personal choices in culture or identity have nothing to do with the reality. And this is exactly what Satan wants, and what he has been working toward for centuries. Lies presented as if it is the truth has destabilized society in every way that counts, including the idea that Spiritual Truth is whatever you want it to be. The reason this is happening is because of the word 'faith'! The misuse of the identiy of the word 'faith' is the root cause of all of the troubles of society today, because Faith allows a person to believe a lie as if it is the truth, without accountabiiity.
