Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

Why your should listen~ There are thousands of religious ministries that 'broadcast' their 'product' every day, all day, in every language, around the world on radio, TV, and cable. If they are Christian in nature then there is one characteristic that is ubiquitous to all of them, and that is that they all teach exactly the same thing. Oh yes, there will be minor differences in prophetic interpretation, and in the tactics used to gain an audience, but in everything that counts (excluding the 'way' of what is taught) every single one of them teach exactly the same thing; salvation by faith through grace, as define (and indeed invented) by the Apostle Paul. Certainly, Jesus gets and 'honorable mention' because of His death on the cross, but it is the teaching that Paul brought to the world through his vistions that made Christianity a competitive religious philosophy in the wider world. If you are a Christian, you must believe in the writings and the words of Paul in order to be named as a Christian. And in this religion that is a place for the words of Jesus, but that place is always and clearly secondary to the words of Paul, and rightly so, according to the words of Paul himself. Paul's words have overshadowed the words of Jesus in every aspect of life for the Christian. And while certain of His words are acceptable when placed next to the words of Paul, most are ignored by the pastors, preachers and teacher of Christianity as of no importance, because Paul came after Jesus, who came only to the Jews, and Paul brought salvation to the Gentiles. Truth is singular and absolute. There is only one truth, and that truth IS NOT ubiquitous - it is, and has been from the beginning, that which God sent to earth with His Son, Jesus, to teach the world how to gain entrance to the Kingdom of God, and to eternal life. You will find this concept only in one place, and that is right here in our ministry.

Injured Kitty~ Sparky is one of two cats in our house, and is the sweetest cat you could ever hope to meet. Tuesday at about 7:15PM she was involved in a fight with a big orange cat in our back yard, a cat that has been coming over from time to time. I ran outside from the kitchen when I heard the noise of the fight just in time to see Sparky come flying up the porch stairs and into the house. The other cat was running toward the chain link fence  on our property line, climbed over, and disappeared into our neighbors yard. I know that this was not Jim's cat, because Jim doesn't like cats, and has never had one, as long as we have been neighbors. .Sparky was bleeding from a wound on her right hind quarter, and came into the living room and started to lick the wound on our throw rug. She was bleeding from what looked like a puncture wound. It was evident that she was really hurting. I tried to pick her up in order to assess the damage, but she hissed, and ran into the bedroom, and under the bed. We got her out, and were able to get her into the bathtub and rinse her wound with some luke-warm water. We wrapped her in a towel and I sat with her in my chair for two hours, before she again ran under the bed. Yesterday we were able to get a quick appointment with our Vet, and he cleaned the wound and gave her antibiotics and a pain drug, that we must give to hear twice a day. She hates us doing this to her. It breaks my heart to see my kitty hurting, and I will do anything, pay as much as it takes to get her healed. The problem is that she doesn't understand that we are trying to help her, and she fights us when we try to help, because the helping hurts her. God feels the same way about us and our sinning. He has provided a means that will lead us to eternal life, but the process is not easy, nor is it pain free. He cannot force us to comply, We mus do it of our own free will.

Tree Service~ Yesterday the Tree Service that we had contracted came to the house and set about felling, trimming, thinning, and otherwise putting the trees of our yard into better shape than they have been in years. They cut back an ageing apple tree of the dead parts, leaving the branches that still had life to grow again. They cleared away a pile of wood that had been in front of our cedar fence for years. The fell a long dead and rotting tree trunk (25 feet tall) that was ready to split, and was a danger. They trimmed back a maple and a mullberry tree that overhung the property lines into our neighbor's yard on both the north and the south sides of our property. They thinned and topped our huge lemon tree, that had become so overgrown that it had lost its ability to produce a good crop. And finally, the owner (Ephrain) put on his climbing rig and went via ladder to the top of our 50ft palm, and removed 10 years of dead fronds, that were almost ready to drop off and either damage our truck, that we have to park at the base of the palm, or hurt someone. It was exciting to watch this crew of five experts (including Ephrain's son) work their magic on our property, and give us a fresh start in making our yard a wonderful place to enjoy.  As they were doing all of these things it reminded me that there is the same kind of need in our spiritual identities for a good clean out from time to time. Truth has been mixed with lies for so long that it is impossible to see the spiritual reality that God wants for each of us to experience because there is so much dead wood in us that we can't breath the fresh air of the truth that God desires for us to know. We cannot bare the spiritual fruit that will not only save our own lives, but the lives of others, and we can;t see our way to the Kingdom of God  because the branches in our souls are so narly and twisted that we can't see the Truth. Prune away the Lies and Truth appears.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, April 21, 2023, for our flagship program The Bible on Trial, where we test to beliefs of Christianity against the very words of jesus that He gave to His own disciples when He was here on earth. This program stretches the boundaries of Truth, and shows that what you believe to be true about Salvation, Prophecy, and Eternal life may not be what you now think. Our program will be 'on air' at 10AM PDT, on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Today we will be continuing our study into why we are where we are in time, with respect to the different prophetic time-line upon which we find ourselves. The Death Road time line of most of Revelation has been changed to the new time line of the Life Road of Daniel 2 and Revelation 10. Join us as we delve deep into how this change affects our outcome, when seen in the light of the words of Jesus that He gave His own eyewitness disciples when He was here on earth. Join us today, April 15, 2023 at 10 AM PDT, for our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling, on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Next~ At one point in my life I was in marketing/sales of life insurance. As with all jobs, and even though I ended up NOT making this my lifetime career, the experience was valuable in several ways. One way that it was valuable was that I learned that I was not cut our to be in such a 'cut-throat' business. Another was that I learned that I could actually succeed in something in which I had no natural interest, as I was rather good at it. But the most important thing I learned in the approximately 4 years I spent doing life/health insurance (including getting my license, and getting a series 6 and 66 investments license) was that the most important thing anyone in direct personal sales can learn is the word "Next". Most everyone at some point in their lives needs life insurance, just as everyone needs a car. And just as with car sales, insurance sales comes with a ubiquitous stigma that is automatically attached to the person doing it. The success rate is very low for both of these endeavors, which necessitates a thick skin, and the ability to accept rejection on a massive scale. The more rejection, the more success. This is where the word "Next" come in. As soon as you receive a rejection you must automatically say to yourself - "Next", and search for another prospect. 'Truth' is also a commodity that everyone needs, but not everyone is ready to hear when you make your approach. Being rejected in presenting of Truth is not a stigma, it is a fact of life. As a Bondservant of Jesus, it IS your job to present the truth of Salvation to everyone that  expresses an interest. It is NOT your job to try to influence them to hear what you say, that is the job of the Holy Spirit. If they recoil when you present the truth your job is to let them go. Trust the Holy Spirit will lead them, and say to yourself, “Next”!

Spiritual Connector~ We all live busy lives in a busy, busy world. And as such, making time to think about and work on our eternal lives rarely occurs during the week. We get in the habit of saving our introspections for church on weekends, or on special religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas. At these times we will dress up and go to church to listen to the sermon and hear the music, and gain a warm fuzzy feeling that we have done our due dilligence in making God a part of our lives, even if it is just a small part; something is better than nothing. We believe  pastors or priests when they say God loves us so much that He has provided a way to salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ spent on the Cross, and all we must do to gain eternal life is "believe on Jesus Christ and you are saved." We go home from church feeling satisfied with our understanding that we will always be sinners, but that Jesus has "paid it all" for our sins, and there is nothing more we need do to demonstrate our love for God other than "Believe!" Our spiritual connector to God and salvation, according to our pastors, is Grace through Faith. Yet those of you that have been listening to our programs for any length of time now realize that this concept is like trying to life a 100 pound weight with a rubber band; the rubber band will break before you get the weight off the ground. The words of Jesus that He gave His own eyewitness disciples is the unbreakable connector between Truth, salvation, and eternal life. But the understanding of the Truth of how salvation really works takes time and patience. Simply attending a church service now and then, or even every week, will not do anything to promote the deep understanding that is needed in order to gain entry into the Kingdom of God. Set aside the time to learn His words and you will be rewarded with the knowledge that brings salvation and eternal life.

Timing is Everything~ Throughout the history of the world, as described in the history and prophecies in the Bible, it is crystal clear that God has defined a series of events that needed to be timed perfectly in order for His plans for bringing the kingdoms of this world back into the Kingdom of God to happen. This is not to say that God has manufactured events in order to do this. It is that God had identified events and decisions that must take place in the proper order at the proper time in order for the people of the world to see clearly that what God needs is a Kingdom of God on earth to accomplish His goal of returning the world to the righteousness that was present (for a time) after the creation of the world.  Unless you have been living in total isolation you should realize that right now, today, the plans of God to accomplish this are in full swing, and the decison point of history has now been reached. The programs that Spirit of Truth Ministry sponsor on Blog Talk Radio will help you identify these events and timing that have led us to this centinal moment in earth's history, where the choice of whether to decide for the Light and Truth, or darkness and Lies, has already been made.  Join Spirit of Truth ministry for our flagship program The Bible on Trial, today April 7, 2023 at 10AM PDT and find out where you are in the process of identifying whether you believe lies as if they are truth, or whether you actually know the truth of where we are in the prophetic time line of the Life Road, and whether you understand how salvation and gaining eternal life really happens: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, April 1, 2023 at 10AM PDT, for our program The Revelation of jesus with Rick Sterling. This is a presentation in which we reveal the hidden truth about End Time Prophecy and Salvation that you will hear no where else. All of us have been taught to believe lies about these things as if they were the truth. Now, through the words of Jesus that He gave to His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth, those lies have been exposed as a deception of Satan that allows people to believe these lies as if they are the truth, without accountability. There is a huge difference between being awake and being woke. This program will awaken you to the Truth about how salvation really works, what it takes to be inside the Kingdom of God, and shows what has changed in the prophectic time-line that has taken us from having to suffer through the Great Tribulation, to being blessed with peace and prosperity the likes of which has not been known since Eden: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Deep Breathe~ I have noticed that when many people get excited about an impending event (either good or bad) their breathing tends to become fast and shallow. Instances of this phenomena are riding a roller coaster just before you go 'over the top' of the initial drop, or being on a commercial airplane as the pilot rolls on the power and starts the take off run. During these moments the heart rate and blood pressure goes up, skin can become clammy, pupils dialate, and the mind automatically turns inward as a way of retreating from reality. Yet once a person has done these kinds of things a few times, the mind/body connection to the impending event changes from a negative to a positive response, where you can hardly wait to do it again. The difference is in the breating. In the former, you are not getting enough blood oxygen to saturate your body and mind, and your body mimics going into shock. In the latter, your anticipation triggers slow, deep preperatory breathing, and this prepares your body/mind connection so that you actually enjoy what onec scared you to death. None of us have every gone through the events that are just about to take place in the world; events that will change the way we live, move, and have our being in this world. If you believe that these events will be as we have learned from or religious leaders, as have been described in Revelation 7, 13 and on, you are anticipating death and destruction of a scale onheard of, and unseen in history. This can (and does) cause a negative reaction akin to the panic mode described above, and can cause you to miss the reality of the glorious events about to take place in the world that ARE NOT these things. If you have been listening to our programs of late, you know that the time-line of prophecy has changed, and you have already begun to breath deeply of the new reality that is taking place in the world, as we speak. This changes everything.
