Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, June 4, 2022, at 10AM PT for our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling, where we will continue to show that the Death Road prophecies of "The End" that are seen in Revelation 13 have been displaced by the Life Road Prophecies of Daniel 2 and Revelation 10. These Life Road prophecies show a totally different timeline that will lead the world to a time of Peace and Prosperity, where the Kingdom of God will come to this planet without the horror that has been seen in the interpretation of the End Time Prophecies for centuries past. If you desire to see the alternative to to the Beasts and Bowls of Wrath, then listen today to our program at the following link: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Knee Pain~ The past 3-4 weeks have been 'hell' due to the fact that I have been beset with severe knee pain. For those of you that have experienced this malady the issue is that the pain is pervasive, and becomes (at times) all consuming; so much so that it is difficult to think about anything else. The pain affects all aspects of life, from work to sleep, to everything in between.  I went to my Primary Care Giver, and was asked to do certain things in the way of stretching, Icing, heating, wrapping, etc., and due to certain other ongoing conditions I was not able to take an oral medications for the pain. All of these things help while doing them, but there has been no long term pain reduction. Today, after our program ends at 11AM, I am going for X-rays, with another follow up appointment with my primary next week, where he will make an assessment that my include a referral to an orthopedist/knee specialist. The process is excruciatingly slow, and very painful, but hopefully will result in a diagnosis and treatment plan that will be good. Pain is a great motivator. It is also the only thing that moves many people into an activity that has any hope of mitigating the pain, whatever the source of that pain. When life goes on and on in it's daily routine, with no changes, no annoying propblems, we often get innured to what we do or don't do, and don't think about why we do what we do. No one wants to have to deal with painful situations or people, or where we are in time. We would all rather just 'keep on keeping on', instead of trying to figure out where we are spiritually, and what we need to do to secure our eternal lives. Right now the world is not a nice place to be, and thinking about the future can be scary and painful. it is important to know where and 'when' we are in time, so we can be prepared for what is coming. Do not ignore the pain, deal with it!

Right or Left~ Ecc 10:2  A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him toward the left. Pro 14:12  There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Every day, in every aspect of life, there are choices, and what you choose as a method for making those decisions will affect not only the outcome of the day, but the outcome of your life.  For many people the choice is based upon how they feel at the moment, decisions based on emotion, and what feels right. This allows a person to make a decision one day, and make the opposite decision the next day, and not see any inconsistency in either choice.  For others, decisions are based upon establishing a principle based upon a method that is outside of themselves, a check-list (as it were), and the choices that are made gain consistency from one day to the next, a series of If-Thens, that provide decisions that lead to a consistent result that does not change from day to day. God has provided a set of Words/Commandments that allows a person that follows them to achieve consistency in decision making based upon the sure knowledge of the truth, and takes the guess work out of the result. A person that abides IN these Words (Law, Prophets, Words of Jesus) has nothing to fear in making decisions based on those principles, because they are Truth. The cardinal dirction of these words is Right, and leads a person to the Kingdom of God, and eternal life.

Red Flag~ Tragedy comes in many forms, and on many levels. Having to put a beloved pet to sleep is a tragedy, but it is not on the same scale as having to bury a parent, or a good friend. Saying goodby to an Aunt or Uncle is sad, but the recovery time is short, because you know they lived a full and productive life, and their memory will be cherished as you move forward into the future.  But there is a loss that borders on being inconievable and inconsolable, where the memory of that person will be tainted with regret that life was cut short due to know fault of their own making, and that is of a parent having to bury their young child. When illness or disease takes an infant, or a cancer fight taking the life of a teenager is always a hard thing; but at the very least you had time to love them, and help them deal with their passing. This past week 19 families in Texas are having to deal with a reality that did not allow a final goodby before their child was cruely taken from them by a deranged killer. One minute their child is safe as school, the next they are being brought out of the classroom in a body bag, because a mentally ill person shot them to death, and final goodby's  were not said. The question that will be asked when this hapens is, "Why did God allow this to happen?" The answer in not one that most people want to hear, and is proven by the result; God is powerless to prevent this kind of tragedy from happening, because God is NOT the ruler of this world, Satan is. Satan will do anything to prevent God from winning back this world, including murdering innocent children in order to move forward his agenda of a one-world government, Rather than having a Kingdom of Righteousness, Satan wants a kngdom of darkness, and he will do and say anything to achieve it. Ultimateluy Satan will lose because God's Kingdom will prevail, and all those lost will be restored to life.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry as we continue our study into the shift in the prophetic time lines from the Death Road as seen in Revelation 7 8 and 13 to the Life Road prophecies of Daniel 2 and 7, and Revelation 10. Rick will show how these prophecies differ, and how to know both where and when we are in time. This gives a sense of peace and security in the knowing, and goes far beyond what you see in the news as presented by the MSM. We will be 'on air' at 10AM PT with our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling, on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

0.25 Second ~ The time that it takes for a human being to see something and then react to it is (on average) around 1/4 th of a second (0.25  sec.). This sounds pretty quick, so let's put this in perspective. A car traveling at 60 MPH is the same as saying one mile in one minute. To find the number of feet per second the formula is 5280 feet / (divided by) 60 seconds = 88 ft./second. Multiply this by 0.25 = 22 ft./second. As you can see this 'reaction time' can cause a delay that is long enough for a car to travel 100 feet in a little over a second if the brain is attached to the event, and you have looked away from the road for as little as one second. Reaction times that bypasses the brain can be as little as 0.08 of a second, which means that if you have pre played a driving decision in your brain and have already decided what you would do before hand, this can shorten the reaction to a situation by more that a half second, which could be the difference between life or death. This is why it is so important not to allow yourself to be distracted by anything while driving, such as by texting, changing the channel of the radio, or a bee flying around inside your car. These things can kill you, because your brain is far behind your actual location, and you must be able to 'think ahead' in order to be safe. Thinking ahead is also important when dealing with life in general, and especially when looking a the spiritual world throuth the eye of Bible prophecy. Truth is the key to understanding Bible prophecy and knowing what to expect when and how, and where we are in time. But if we are looking one direction, and become distracted due to the misunderstanding of prophecy, and don't have time to react properly to events that have been unlooked for, will our being distracted cause us to miss out on a bright future of peace and prosperity because we have been expecting something else?

The Derby~ A few days ago the Kentucky Derby was run at Churchill Downs in Louisville Kentucky, and what a race it was! Seemingly, from out of nowhere, an 80:1 long shot horse named Rich Stike worked his way from far behind in the pack to make a charge in the last furlong and win the Kentucky Derby going away. According to news reports this win was a "stunning upset", and no one on the live TV broadcast even mentioned Rich Strike in their lead up to the race. In hindsight they now speak of the this horses breeding, the stable ownership and the quality of the Jocky in glowing terms. But before the race no one paid any attention to Rich Strike, or any number of other horses that were expected by the experts to be the 'also rans'! The 2022 Kentucky Derby truly lived up to the moniker "The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports"! So what was the overarching factor that won this race? If you focus only on the horse then you ignore the fact that without that particular jocky Rich Strike might has lost the race. If you focus on the Jocky and his magnificent riding ability and ignore the horse, the Trainer, and the Stable management, then you still do not have a winner. We can see this happening right now in the Christian world, when it comes to the 'race' of salvation. Most Christians focus one thing, and that is 'salvation by faith through grace, and believing that Jesus died for their personal sins. They  have been taught that they don't need to run the race to win. This is like being declared the winner without leaving the starting gate. They don't realize that without Jesus (the Jocky) bringning the Words (the Stable) that God (the Owner) gave Jesus to the earth, and God must have a Kingdom (the horse) with which to take those words to the world, the race will be lost.   So if you never actually compete in the race you can never win the prize of eternal life.

Power Outage~ The day before yesterday, and having been warned via e-mail, SC Edison was going to shut off power to our neighborhood in order to change out a telephone/electric power polf that had become unsafe. The poll was located on the corner of two streets below our house, and there were three big crane trucks and other ancillary service trucks with their operators. This was a big project, and the projected time frame for theb was from 8AM to 4PM (8 hours), and given that this duration was 8 hours if felt safe in thinking that the fridge that I had loaded with extra ice would keep the regular food safe, and the ice chest would keep the freezer food frozen for that length of time. I checked at 4 PM on the Outage page of the SCE web site, and discovered that the estmated time for completion had been extended to 8PM.  I wasn't as worried about the fridge food as much as the freezer food in our 45 quart Yeti style coolder, this being the first time we had used it for frozen food storage. I didn't know what I would find when we opened the cooler, but i expected the worst, that all our frozen food would be unfrozen, and we would not be able to save most of it. The electricity came on just before 8PM, and it would take at least two hours for the fridge to get cold enough to put the froze food back in the freezed. Our frozen food was outside of the freezer for 14 hours.  To my delight and surprize, when I opened the cooler everything was still well frozen, and went safely back in the freezer fo be used later. Now you may also be surprized that my story is really not about the food or the cooler, it is about the fact that I heeded attention to the warning by SCE to prepare for an outage, and did what I had to do to preserve my household for that outage. God has given us warning of a coming power 'outage' of truth. Are you prepared with what you need to survive?

Old Time Religion~ One of the great songs of my youth, and a song I played and sang with numerous folk and blue grass groups over the years was the song "Give Me That Old Time Religion". It had a catchy tune, simple riffs, easy rhythm, inside a tradtional three chord format. Each verse started with "It was good for . . .", and then you added the name of a character from the Bible such as Daniel, Paul and Silas, or a title such as 'Mother and Father'. Simple, straightforward, and from my perspective today, and sadly, wrong. The 'Old Time Religon' of my father and mother, sister and brother that is based in and on the words of the Apostle Paul, and his disciple Luke, are not the words that lead to truth and salvation. Those words lead to lies, and eventual eternal death. The truth that I believed as a youth has changed into something that sounds like the word 'truth', but is spelled 'trooth', as Rick pointed out on the program yesterday. What Paul wrote concerning salvation does not match in any way the words that Jesus gave to His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth, and therein is the problem. The 'Old Time Religion' that so many have relied upon for their spiritual comfort and security no longer exists, and this is seen today not only in the realm of religion, but also in other areas of our daily life; areas such as politics, economics, and culture. The world is no longer the place we once counted on for stability and security, because Law and Order have been replaced with just do what 'feels' right, not what IS right. The concept of the Apostle Paul that the Law has no place in salvation has turned the world upside down, and that is the real tragedy of our 'Old Time Religion'.  Jesus taught that the 10 Commandments matter, in our salvation and the His words that He brought from His Father in Heaven are the standard of Truth.

Mothers Day~ Sunday is Mothers Day in the U.S.A. I imagine that it is also celebrated in other countries, but I don't know for sure. This is an appropriate celebration day, because celebrating mothers is always appropriate no matter what day of the week.  This day is a reminder to all those people that consider themselves to be 'woke' that it is indeed only women that can give birth to their children. Men have an big part of this process, both before and after, but they are NOT the physical entities that actually go through and endure the process of carrying/gestating a zygote to term, and physically expelling the child from inside their bodies into the outside world. This can only be done by a being that has the correct chromasomal identity and physical attributes to be able to accomplish this remarkable achievement. A man that wishes to be able to do this, dressing and acting as if he can do this, changing his personal pronoun and forcining others to acknowledge this change, and even has surgery to 'look' like he is female in form is still a 'man' in the genetic sense, and can never participate in the actual 'fact' of childbirth, no matter how hard he trues. Men are not women, and women are not men, no matter what a 'woke' society says. This is also true in the spiritual realm We see this described in detail in Revelation 12, with the "Woman clothed in the sun, with a crown of twelve stars on her head".  This 'woman' is the being that gave birth to her first born son, the father of whom is God the Father, Almighty! Two separate and distinct beings, that are God.  When her son was born, He changed from the form of an Archangel (Michael) to the form of a human baby, and at that moment became the Son of God. None of this could be accomplished without a spiritual entity that had the form and function of a wonam. Happy Holy Spirit day!
