Endings and Beginnings~ Whenever there is a beginning there is and ending; and when there is an ending there often follows a new beginning.  A wonderful quote from Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchet in the movie The Muppet Christmas Carol describes this situation perfectly: "Life is full of meetings and partings." Saying goodby to someone or something you love is difficult and often bittersweet, weven when you know that parting has purpose. Becky and I are now days away from saying goodby to our lovely cat Molly, who, as I mentioned previously, has cancer in her lower jaw, and is now starting to have difficulty swallowing. I have made a promise to all of our pets that we will take care of them in both life and death, and that they will never suffer needless pain. That time for Molly is almost here. When I experience this type of bittersweet pain, knowing that we are doing the right thing for Molly but feel deeply about the loss of a friend that has been a part of our family for over 10 years, it reminds me of what God the Father experienced during the death of His Son Jesus. The Father and Jesus knew the ultimate outcome long before the action taken on that fateful day. What we experience when we must put a beloved animal down and what God experienced with Jesus is that while Molly will not be in pain during this process, but God could not prevent the pain and suffering His Son experienced before He executed Jesus in order to pay the penalty for the disobedience of His Kingdom. The Cross did not kill Jesus, the Father did, so that Jesus could save His Righteous Kingdom from the penalty imposed upon the Kingdom of God when Adam and Eve turned that Kingdom over to Satan in the Garden. Even though the outcome was sealed and sure, the pain was real for both the Father and the Son.  we will have no more bittersweet partings if we choose obedience to the will of the Father, as did Jesus.

Repairs~ My 'new' 2006 Ford F-150 is on ramps in my driveway waiting for me to start a repair process to correct a problem by changing the fuel filter. I noticed (like dropping a hammer on a bare toe) that although my mileage had never been good, it started to get really bad recently; 'bad' as in the 10 mpg range. In talking to a friend that has this same engine in his Crown Vic I should be getting about 15-16 around town and 18-19 overall, so something is very wrong. It has been my policy to not throw parts as a repair, but in this case a clogged fuel filter could be a good start. We will see.  This situation got me thinking about what it would take for a person to rethink their spiritual identity. Changing anything that has been a part of your life for your whole life can be traumatic, and very uncomfortable. Humans have a tendency to try to hide from pain. We often wait for the pain to be relevant before we decide to go the the dentist to get a tooth repair; or go to our doctor to get help dealing with back pain. The same is true in our spiritual lives. The mantra "Go along, to get along" can easily become a problem if we let a situation fester fo the point of pain. But 'what if' we neglect our true need for changning our spiritual identity because we have been given and analgesic (pain killer) that masks the symptoms of a deadly spiritual disease to the point that unless we do something radical we will be excluded from Eternal Life because we simply '"don't know what we don't know"? The pain killer of which I speak is the concept that we are "saved by grace through faith!" This concept that was formulated by Satan and administered by the 'Apostle' Paul, and was designed to keep Christians from seeing the truth found in the Words of Jesus. This is a good place to start the repair process of Sanctificaion.

Assumptions~ The single thing that gets the most people into the most trouble is making assumptions. When we 'assume' (as the old saying goes) we make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me' (ass-u-me). While this is cute it is also more true than people would like for it to be. When we assume we bypass a very important step in the process of drawing a consistent and valid conclusion about anything, and that is the verification of facts, that is followed closely by the validaton of the conclusion. Take the Covid 'pandemic' for example. People have made the assumption that the medical orgaizations that are in place in their countries, and indeed the world, have their personal best interest at heart vis-a-vis vaccines, hospitalizations, immunity, and percentages of recovery and death statiistic. And just as with our relationship to the local police, we assume that they (both police and health orgaizations) will come to our individual aid when called upon in a moment of crisis. I both cases these organizations are not their to provide you with personal service leading to safely. They are both (as we have been told) interested only in 'public' safety, and they don't care if you personally live or die in (say) a riot or a pandemic. Statistics can and are being manipulated to make drawing a proper and scientific conclusion as to efficacy and recovery (in the case of the 'plandemic') from Covid-19 using the approved numbers that show a totally different outcome than is seen in reality. It is incumbant upon everyone to minimize the assumptions they make regarding anything that might kill them. This includeds Righteousness, Justice, and the Kingdom of God. Salvation in not based in assumptions of guilt or innocence, it is based in truth, facts, and obedience to those pesky Commandments. Assuming that you are 'saved' when you are not can kill you. Find the truth.

Rescue~ I just watched a short video of a hunting dog rescuing a fawn. The video opens with a large dog swimming with something in it's mouth. As the dog gets closer it becomes clear that has a small deer in it's mouth. The dog swims to a fairly steep bank on the side of this river, climbs out with the deer in it's mouth, repositions the deer, and climbs the bank where it's owner takes the deer from the dog. The whole time the fawn was struggling and crying, but this didn't deter the dog from saving the deer. Amazing! (https://www.facebook.com/100005876504149/videos/971473856829943) This is how Christians feel that God will someday rescue them from the evils of this world, and from their own part in living with and in sin.. They look at themselves as a helpless fawn that doesn't know how to get out of the flowing river of sin by itself, and needs to be rescured by a loving savior that will bring them to safety inspite (and dispite) their every effort to get away from their rescurer. They scream in protest "No, no, no, I don't need you", struggling to get away, all the while beleiving that they can do nothng by themselves to get out of their predicament. This is their picture of being "saved by grace through faith"! But this is NOT how God views humanity. Humans are not helpless when it comes to sin. Jesus came to show us how to defeat the sin in our lives through ovedience the words, teachings anc commandments of Jesus. We are not a helpless simpering creature that has no control over our own salvation. When we learn the words of Jesus we become a powerful force, (as was the dog in the video), able to swim that river of sin to the other side, and climb out on our own into the righteousness that God demands from the people of His Kingdom. Jesus did not teach 'salvation by grace through faith' as we have been taught. Jesus taught righteousness by obedience to His words.

An End to Sadness ~ There is a lot of sadness in the world today, what with the situations involving politics, the 'Pandemic' (Plandemic) causing fear where fear is not called for, with the world wide economic slump, supply chain issues, and a myriad of other concerns in daily life. Closer to home there is sadness in Ricks household because of his mother-in-law passed away on Wednesday from a long illness, the imminent passing of my son-in-law's (Arin) father in North Carolina, and of less importance but no less heart breaking is that our cat Molly has cancer of the right jaw, and it is expected that we will have to aid her passing in a week or so. Sadness abounds! But that is not the end of the story! As we have seen in Bible prophecy, and consistantly spoken of on our Blog Talk Radio podcasts The Bible on Trial and The Revelation of Jesus since August of 2021, we KNOW that the plans for this world that God detailed in both Daniel and Revelation have changed from a Death Road scenario to a plan where the Life Road prophecies shown in Revelation 10 and in Daniel 2 will be fulfilled in our sight in the near future, bringing a time of peace and prosperity to the world. This is Good News, and will bring an end of sadness to the good people of the world that love God, and great sorrow and gnashing of teeth to those that have abused their power in trying to bring about the one-world government of the Death Road prophecies. We are, by all accounts, nearing the end of the line for the Deep State and those that have chosen to worship the false god, and an End To Sadness in the world. The plans of Satan for this world have been thwarted by the God of Creation, and His Kingdom here on earth. If you believe this, and want to be part of that Kingdom please listen to our upcoming programs, beginning today, February 4, 2022, at 10AM PDT, with our program The Bible on Trial, on: blogtalkradio.com/sot. We hope to see you then!

Red Letter Day~ In reading the Bible, especially the King James Version (KJV), there is an editorial marker that everyone notices right at the begiinning of their reading in the New Testament, and that is that the words of Jesus are in red ink. Most people believe (as with my esteemed father-in-law Fred) that every word in red was certainly the very words of Jesus, that He spoke directly to us across the centuries, every one of which is the 'God's honest Truth'. So when people read the 'red' words in Luke and in the writings of Paul they believe whole heartedly that Jesus actually said them. This had caused a huge cognitive dissonance in the understanding of the truth that Jesus brought from the Father and gave to His own eyewitness disciples, because those words (in the main) do not confirm what either Paul or his disciple Luke wrote about what Jesus actually said. Just because the words are in red does not mean they are true. So in saying that the programs of today and tomorrow (January 28 and 29, 2022), and indeed every program we produce will each be a 'Red Letter Day', takes on a different signifigance when set against the 'trooth' you will hear from any other source that uses the Bible as the standard for truth.  This is the Anniversary weekend in which we will celebrate the beginnings Spirit of Truth Ministry all those years ago, and will be Red Letter Days as we continue our discussions about the change of tack in end-time prophecy from the Death Road that has been the common understanding for thousands of years, to the Life Road understanding that has been in place just since August of 2021. We encourage you to listen to both programs, The Bible on Trial today January 28, and The Revelation of Jesus tomorrow January 29, as we recap the events that have led us to this moment in time, where prophecy and truth become clear to those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Cancer~ Our beautiful Calico cat Molly is dying from cancer. Two weeks ago we took her to the vet for some dental work, and the xrays showed that she has cancer in her jaw. We had noticed a small bulge at the base of her right jaw, and had taken her in for pre-op blood work a month ago, and the vet did an exam and believed it was an infection, for which she gave us antibiotics. It wouldn't have made any difference had we known, as it was already in the bone. We chose to do the dental work anyway, and have a little more pain free time with Molly. Soon we will have to fulfill the decision we made for all our animals when we bring them into our family - they will not live in pain. Right now Molly is on mom's lap on the bed, purring. We are contemplating life without her. Cancer can destroy life. It is invasive, pernicious, and can be deadly even when you catch it early. You can only battle cancer when you know it is there. That that is the problem. All of us live, and have lived, with cancer of the mind and spirit. That cancer is the lies we believe to be true, lies that eat away at the fabric of our souls, and replace (occupy the same space) as the truth. Truth is life, Lies are death. All of us believe lies as if the are the truth, and we don't even know it is happening. Satan planned it that way. God has the cure to this cancer, and that cure is in The Words of Truth that Jesus brought from His Father in Heaven to this earth, that teaches the world how to achieve Righteousness and salvation. These are the Words that God gave through the Law and the Prophets, and in the completion of the Trilogy of Truth that Jesus spoke while He was here on earth, in the words He gave to His own eyewitness disciples; these are the words that destroy the cancer of the lying words of Satan. If you don't recognize that you have this cancer then you won't recognize the cure when it is presented to you.

"Are We There Yet?"~ Parents that have take a road trip with children know that the words "Are we there yet?" are the most dreaded words in the English language. Why? Because once said they don't stop being said until the drive is over. The only words that are equal to those words are, "I've got to go to the bathroom"; especially when they are said 10 minutes after leaving the house. Anticipation of getting to the destination, coupled with having little or no sense of time and timing, are the true culprit in this type of story, especially when the destination is a long sought after place such as a cherished theme park. For many people this identity carries over into adulthood in the impatience of having to wait for a needed pay check, or waiting for the birth of a child (especially on the part of the mother). My wife's favorite prayer (said tongue-in-cheek) is, "Dear Lord, give me patience; and I want it right now." The world right now is in a protracted period of waiting for something to happen. With Covid running rampant, inflation going wild, prices going up dramatically for everythng, and the Government becoming more oppressive day by day, people are waiting desperately for somethng to happen that will solve all these issues, and bring us back to 'normal'.  Jesus said, "I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown." Rev. 3:14. But this 'coming' has not happend for 2000 years, and looks to still be a long way off, especially for those that want to be rescued from the evil of this world. Jesus also said, "Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known." Matt. 10: 28. That time is now upon us. So take heart and be patient. For the time is short.
