Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

We here at Spirit of Truth Ministry hope you will join us at 10AM Pacific Time for Episode #1268, our live broadcast where we discuss timely events and how they affect our Eternal Life, or eternal death. You can also listen to our podcast later on our station at your convenience.

Fathers Day~ Tomorrow is Fathers Day, and women and children across our country will celebrate the men in their lives that have stepped away from the freedom living their lives only for themselves into a world where they live their lives for an idea that is greater than themselves, into the idea of family.  The world glorifies the idea that men should be independent, and live a free-wheeling, devil-may-care life that makes them feel good, and look good, often at the expense of those around them. Boys watch movies that glorify this kind of life, where dating a woman has become a game of conquest and aquisition, where it is admirable to 'love her, and leave her', where getting her pregnant and leaving her to deal with the aftermath has become an acceptable form of 'birth control' for him, with no regard for her feelings or needs. This is the life of a boy, not of a man.  This was never God's plan for men. When a boy decides that he wants to become the man God intended he accepts responsibility for his own life, and for the lives of his wife and children, willingly and without reservation, he is ready to become the father that God desires him to be. God does not ask men to do anything that He has not Himself done. Got the Father willingly gave His own Son to death, for the purpose of securing eternal life for His Kingdom, by paying the penalty for the disobedience of the first members of that Kingdom in the Garden of Eden.  Satan is the father of lies, and would have men believe the LIE that God has asked too much of them, and that it is impossible for them to become the Father He is. God is the Father of truth, and directs men to become fathers in His image, and then give them the strength of character to accomplish this task On Father's Day remember to include God our Father in the celebation!

Death is Personal~ Aly Girl is dying. Aly is a cat that belongs to a very good friend of my wife, and has been with her friend over 19 years. Aly has stopped eating, but is still drinking water, and taking a teaspoon or two of chicken broth from time to time. Aly is experiencing kidney failure from old age, but she is still hanging in there. Last night was 'ladies night', and my wife and another good friend went to be with their friend, who was sure that Aly was going to leave this earth last night. They had dinner, celebrating Aly's life with some good food, a bottle of wine, and laughter along with some tears. Aly was up and about and even sipped some broth. My wife's friend is a nurse, and thought that Aly would not make it overnight. Well, Aly showed them! As of this morning Aly is still alive, even though just barely.  Yet the end of this story is inevitable. Aly will die, and her 'mom' (and her friends) will mourn her. Life on this earth right now is just that way. Christians have been taught by experts that in both Daniel and Revelation there is going to be a 'time of trouble' such as has never been before, and will never be again, where 'all hell' is going to break out on earth before Jesus comes in the clouds. This concept has lots of people worried sick, so much so that many have said they would rather die and not have to go through this trauma, wishing to skip over this pain and go right to the peace of the Kingdom of God. BUT WHAT IF the events of the Death Road prophecies will not happen because the Life Road prophecies have taken over? WHAT IF peace and prosperity will supplant death and destruction on earth as the order in end time prophecy? Would this make a difference to you? Join Spirit of Truth Ministry as we continue to discover the Truth of the Life Road prophecies.

We have recently been discussing the issues surrounding the change from the Death Road prophecies seen in Revelation, that have informed the understanding of end time events for hundreds if not thousands of years, to the Life Road senarios, that have come to light since August 14, 15, 2020 programs. Instead of having to go through the hell on earth of the Seven Trumpets and then the Seven Bowls of Wrath, we are now in a situation that will lead to a time of peace and prosperity, a time in which the people of earth wlll be able learn and understand the truth of how salvation really works, without the pressure of the pain that would be inflicted upon humanity in the events of the prophecies seen in Revelation.  If this interests you, then please join Spirit of Truth Ministry today at 10AM Pacific time for our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling, as Rick goes into the details of how and why these prophecies no longer apply to the time-line upon which we now find ourselves. Puppet Masters~ Many people in the Conservative media (not MSM) today have observed that the US President (so called) is not expressing his own thoughts, but is simply a mouth piece for people behind the curtain that are controlling his voice, as would a ventriliquist with his/her dummy. The point of being a puppet master is to make the puppet look as if it is alive, when in fact it is incapable of acting and speaking on its own. The puppet expresses the thoughts of the puppet master, and brings nothing to the conversation. Puppet Masters come in a variety of forms. We see the beginnings of this in the public school systems of the world, and even in private religious schools, that use indoctrination as the method of 'training up a child in the way he should go'! Rather than teaching children to think for themselve and learn to analyze a problem or situation, and then devise a plan of action to solve the problem, result of 'education' is that we are seeing more and more people that can parrot a 'party line', but have not thoughts as to the 'why' and 'wherefore' of what they are doing or saying.  Jesus said, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:31-32)  Jesus was not asking people to simply memorize verses from the Bible, and speak them 'By Rote', without understanding. He is stating that is you want to become a disciple of His then you need to become 'One with the Father' because you have put His words in your intellect, and they have become a part of your very being. Jesus is NOT a puppet master, and He does not want people to behave as if they strings attached that control their every thought and actions, as with a marionette. What Jesus wants is people that "KNOW THE TRUTH", not 'know OF the truth'!

Prepare the Way~ During summer vacations during the time I was a school teacher I was not allowed by my lovely and gracious wife to simply sit around and veg while she continued to work. She told me that if she had to work during the summer so did I. So for about 10 years I was a professional house painter. The first thing I learned was that 80-90% of the job was preparation, which was the most important and time consuming part of the job. It didn't matter how much the paint cost, or how skillful I was at applying the coats, or how good my equipment was, if the wall was not prepared properly then the result would be awful. I found this to be also true for gardening, landscaping, teaching students, or for learning anything. If the ground is not prepared properly what ever you try to learn will not stick in you memory. This is especially true for learning and practicing the Truth. If a person does not believe that they need to learn anything about a particular subject then nothing you do will be able to overcome that disability. Even God Themselves could not overcome the inertia  that was present in Ancient Israel, that prevented this people from learning a practicing the Truth that God tried and tried to teach them. There were too many rocks in the field for the plow to get through. These rocks were the stumbling blocks that proved impossible for God to remove. If you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," (Rev. 3:17), you will never find truth.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, Friday June 4, 2021, for another edition of our flagship program The Bible on Trial. Our show is 'on air' from 10 AM to 11 AM Pacific Time. Since 2007 Spirit of Truth Ministry has produced 1261 one-hour programs that have redefined what it means to 'follow Jesus', who gave his own disciples the Truth of God with words that came directly from His Father, who gave these words directly to Jesus in Heaven, who then came to earth and declared this truth to His Kingdom through the words of His own eyewitness disciples Matthew and John. We encourage you to listen to at least 6 programs before you make any decisions about what you are hearing, because in order to find truth you must first be willing to reassess what you now 'believe' to be true, which may not be truth, and readjust your thinking to fit a completely new way of seeing what is true, through only the words of Jesus. We hope you will take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to join us today for our program, The Bible on Trial.

Memorial Day!-a short history~ The original name of Memorial Day was Decoration Day, and came out of the War Between the States, a war that claimed more lives than any war since it ended in the Spring of 1865. There were so many dead as a result of this 'Civil' war that for the first time the Federal Government had to establish National Cemetaries to handle the load. The first official celebration and remembrance was designated as Decoration Day on May 30, 1868, a date that was selected because it wasn't the anniversary of any particular battle. Decoration Day was to honor only those that died in the Civil War, and after WW1 ended the name was changed to Memorial Day in order to include those that died in that great conflict. All wars and conflicts are now included. In 1968 Congress established the last Monday in May as the day for the celebration in order create a three-day weekend for Federal Employees. This change went into effect in 1971, and was declared to be a Federal Holiday. It has since by tradtition expanded to include all that have served in any capacity in the armed forces of the United States of America, which is why hundreds of thousands of small American flags are placed on every grave in our National Cemetaries, in honor of all who served. I look forward with great anticipation to that Great Day of the Lord, when all of the saved of humanity that have earned the RIGHT to eternal life meet as one before the Great White Throne, and honor their King of the Kingdom of the Heavens, who made it possible for those that have learned and practiced the truth to also be honored along with Him, a celebration of victory over death. Our shared experience will be different now that we are no longer subject to the prophecies of the Death Road as seen in Revelaton. We will be experiencing a different set of prophecies, that will open a new way to eternal life through peace not war.

Remember~ Memory is a tricky thing. All of us have had the experience of forgetting where we put the TV, the car keys, or even the car in a public parking lot. Not being able to remember where you put your reading glasses, or your cel phone can be really frustrating. When you find what your have been looking for there is comes a sense of relief that is palpable. There are also things we would like to forget, but can't. Embarassing moments where you said something wrong at just the right moment, or you did something without thinking it through that emotionally hurt a loved one. As we get older and further away in time from events or people in ur past, remembering often become a fading shadow of what once was. And memory becomes more elusive the harder we try to remember, and if we let it go those same memories come back to our minds when we least expect. God has asked us to REMEMBER some difficult things; things we would rather forget.  'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent." Rev..2:5. God has also asked us to remember, and not forget what we have learned about truth. 'So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you." Rev. 3:3. But you can't remember what you have never learned. If you believe you already have all the truth then you will never wake up and learn truth about salvation when you need it the most. 'Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked." Rev.3:17.

Rick Sterling will continue the study on the Death Road and Life Road prophecies in Revelation, and how we be will affected by the decision in 2016 that changed our futures from the horror and pain of the Death Road to the prosperity and peace that we will shortly experience because we have moved over to the Life Road prophecies. Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, May 22, 2021, as we delve further into these marvelous changes by listening to our program The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling at 10AM Pacific Time on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.
