A major new all-island cancer trial is set to launch this spring, aiming to improve treatment for thousands of men diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. 

The INSPIRE trial, led by Cancer Trials Ireland, will explore how advanced radiotherapy can reduce side-effects while maintaining excellent cancer outcomes — and it’s hoped it could make a real difference to patients’ quality of life. 

Joining us now to tell us more is CEO of Cancer Trials Ireland Angela Clayton-Lea. 

We’re turning now to the situation facing Christians in Eritrea, where reports continue to highlight serious restrictions on religious freedom and ongoing imprisonment of believers.

Personality is something we often think we understand — you’re either an introvert or an extrovert, right? But more recently, new terms like ‘outrovert’ are starting to enter the conversation, suggesting that human personality might be a lot more fluid than we once believed. 

So what does this actually mean? Are we discovering something new about ourselves, or just finding new labels for experiences we’ve always had? And why do we feel such a strong need to define ourselves — and others — by personality types in the first place?
