On this episode of Spirit’s & Ghost Stories, we delving to 2 different stories of individuals who believe they didn’t you suffer from sleep process but were able to see between worlds? What is sleep paralysis? While falling asleep or waking up, your brain sends signals that relax muscles in your arms and legs. The result — muscle atonia — helps you remain still during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. With sleep paralysis, you regain awareness but can't move. But what if there’s more to it than that? What if just before you hit rim sleep, you were able to appear through the veil to another world?

In American folklore the hodag is a fearsome monster resembling a large bull-horned predator with a row of thick curved spines down its back. The hodag was said to be born from the ashes of cremated oxen, as the incarnation of the accumulation of abuse, the animals had suffered at the hands of their owners.

On this episode we got back to the lore of the Missing 411. Missing people in the USA or across the world are an unfortunate but regular occurrence. In fact, with as many as 600,000 people declared legally missing in America. The federal government does not track the number of missing persons in national parks, but experts believe about 1,600 individuals mysteriously vanish each year while visiting parks throughout the United States. On today’s episode of Spirit’s & Ghost Stories we talk about the back history of the high number of missing individuals in our national parks and we delve into one story of what happens to a search and rescue worker who finds more than he bargained for.

The urban legends of them often tells of them killing young couples in parked cars or scouring neighborhoods killing family pets. There are also tales of them breaking into peoples' houses and raping its victims. And many attest from the areas that they haunts, it does not matter if you're a man or woman, they will overtake you and rape you none the less. When scared teenagers whisper about Goatman, not all agree on the form they take.

Some say the first was a man who kept goats and went mad after teenagers killed his flock, driven to seek revenge against any youngster. But perhaps the most titillating version traces the origin of Goatman to the Beltsville Agricultural Research Centre, a sprawling USDA facility anchored by a big brick building appointed with white columns. In this version, a mad scientist is conducting experiments on a goat when something goes horribly wrong, turning him into a half man-half goat beast that is, naturally, hungry for blood.

Tonight we are drinking vodka with cranberry juice
