I first met Tim Freke a few years ago and on one of his trips I was able to record this talk and it’s simply too good not to get aired; trust me on this, listen and listen deeply to ideas and thoughts that many millions of people have fought and died over in one war after another. How he can make you laugh at this insanity requires something that I simply do not have, but Tim has it, so let’s all appreciate it and learn about ourselves and our indoctrinated insanity.

After a lifetime exploring the deep awake state and studying the world's wisdom traditions, TIM has created a fresh approach to awakening, which he calls the 'deep awake life.’ This is a new form of spirituality for the 21st century, which is based on the practice of paralogical thinking and soul-to-soul meditations. The intellectual foundation of the deep awake life is TIM's philosophy of 'emergent spirituality', which offers a visionary new understanding of the nature and purpose of life. This is what I called a “Sacred Emerging Reality,” a reality that is emerging and imperceptible to the vast majority of people on this planet, although this too is changing with the help of the independent media and people like TIM.

​OK…I have to admit that I am a optimist, albeit a reluctant one in today’s world. I haven’t really been fired up about politics since JFK, but then we know what happened there. Then Bernie Sanders came along and once again, the police machinery came along and robbed him. But then came Lewis Elbinger to my attention and he made me realize the world has many people out there who can actually make changes in the government if…and only if, we get behind them. As Lewis told me in this interview, “It’s not really about me, it’s about a movement.” Lewis lives in Mt Shasta and has a background that is stellar for what he wants to do…run for Congress.
