Progressive Christianity is a movement of Christians who are reexamining, redefining and often rejecting the core claims of the historic Christian Gospel but retaining the title “Christian.” My guest on this episode has personal experience of how dangerous Progressive Christianity can be.  

Alisa Childers was a member of the Christian band ZOEgirl and she’s written a book called “Another Gospel?” She started researching the truth of historic Christianity after the pastor of the church she was attending began leading members into Progressive Christianity. 

I want you to be able to recognize red flags that go up if Progressive Christianity is starting to get a foothold in your church or in a friend’s faith walk. Alisa identified some of those red flags and talked about how you can respond when she spoke during morning devotions at Samaritan’s Purse earlier this month.
