Christmas/Holidays get "interesting" when you Awaken. 

Last year, I wanted to "wake everyone up" and/or hide lol.

So, you would think that another year of un-learning would lead me to hate it even more, right?

Something happened that shocked the shit out of me (and I think my family too...).

It can be exhausting.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in constant hypervigilance with consciously handling family when my kid says or does "something"...

This was a super stressful situation that needed handling on both sides to see the real issue.

This story can help especially when a kid feels jealous or resentment of a younger or older sibling/relative.

Awakening has changed my perspective on so many programs that were running my entire life- the big guy is up next! 

The idea of Santa has shifted for me, my mom was super thrilled of course.

A specific event opened up my awareness on why I couldn't stick to the original story.

How I now talk about it with my kid that doesn't kill the "magic" while still maintaining honesty.

I thought I had a good gratitude practice going...

My son pulled me into one of the most profound gratitude moments I have ever had, and you should do it too!

A kid getting mad over you saying "no"...

It is so hard- especially if you had a trauma background to stay calm while NOT giving in and at the same time helping THEM regulate...

But it can be done- I cried the first time I saw it work with my son.

And this one CRUCIAL question to ask yourself that has completely changed my parenting that will help.

I had to be somewhere, and my kid was ignoring me… 

I wanted to scream!!   

What happened next shocked the hell out of both of us and maybe you too...

Oh shit...I cringed when it happened, and I cringe a little when I share it here lol. 

But sharing the truth and how we did differently now is where the biggest changes come and how we help each other.
