Spiritual Waimai 属灵外卖： Take-Out When You Can't Get Out

当别无他法，所有的希望都消散时，还有耶稣。你对你所处的绝境有信心吗？你曾把信心付诸于行动就像管会堂的和血漏的妇人一样吗？这个男人没有在家坐着哀痛于女儿的过世。他知道耶稣在城里就冲出去找祂；血漏的妇人没有躺在床上放弃生命，她听见耶稣来了就跑去拥挤的街道只为了摸一下祂衣服的䍁子。他们把信心行出来了。

When there is no other answer, when all hope is gone, there is Jesus. Do you have faith for your impossible situation? Have you put your faith in action like the synagogue leader and the woman? The man did not sit at home and cry over his dead daughter’s bed. He knew Jesus was in town and he ran out the door to look for him. The sick woman didn’t just lie on her bed giving up on life, she heard Jesus was in town and she ran out onto the crowded street to touch the edge of His robe. Their faith was put to action. 

马太福音第九章是从耶稣踏进船只开始讲起，祂刚刚和门徒们经历过一场风暴，释放了两个被鬼附的人，全村的人求衪离开那地。于是祂照做了。祂回到船上再一次和门徒们穿过河流返航。

当祂回到自己的城镇，人们开始向祂涌来。马太福音第九章描述的全是一群绝望缺乏和极其罪恶的人。耶稣被一个接一个的人轰炸，却依然持守祂医治病人和呼召罪人的使命。

Matthew chapter nine begins with Jesus stepping into a boat. He had just survived a storm with His disciples, set two demon-possessed men free and was begged by an entire town to leave. So He did. He got back into that boat and headed home across the lake one more time with His disciples. 

When He got to His own town, the people started coming to Him. Matthew chapter nine is filled with a line-up of desperately needy people plus a bunch of incredibly sinful people. Jesus is bombarded with one person after another and He holds fast to His mission to heal the sick and call the sinners.  

想要追随一位处于人气鼎盛期的超级明星是很自然的一件事。当耶稣完成他振奋人心的登山宝训，并且通过神奇地治愈病人而展示出超能力时，一大群人喧嚷着要来跟随耶稣。甚至因为有太多人聚集在他们周围，耶稣吩咐门徒跳进入船内并想要渡到湖的另一边去。正当他们进入逃离之船时，有两个人来到耶稣跟前。可能他们也想着要跟随耶稣进到那艘船。但是耶稣知道在湖中央等待他的是什么。一场致命的风暴正在酝酿，所以他想确认这两个人是真心想要跟随他。

It is natural to want to follow a superstar at the height of their popularity. After Jesus’ awe-inspiring Sermon on the Mount and His display of supernatural power as He spectacularly healed the sick, massive amounts of people were clamoring to follow Him. So many people were running after Jesus that He ordered His disciples to jump in a boat to go to the other side of the lake. But right before they jumped in the get-away-boat, two men approached Jesus. Maybe they were thinking they wanted to get in that boat with Him. But Jesus knew what was waiting for Him in the middle of that lake. A deadly storm was brewing. So He wanted to make sure that they truly wanted to follow Him. 

想要追随一位处于人气鼎盛期的超级明星是很自然的一件事。当耶稣完成他振奋人心的登山宝训，并且通过神奇地治愈病人而展示出超能力时，一大群人喧嚷着要来跟随耶稣。甚至因为有太多人聚集在他们周围，耶稣吩咐门徒跳进入船内并想要渡到湖的另一边去。正当他们进入逃离之船时，有两个人来到耶稣跟前。可能他们也想着要跟随耶稣进到那艘船。但是耶稣知道在湖中央等待他的是什么。一场致命的风暴正在酝酿，所以他想确认这两个人是真心想要跟随他。

你之前曾听说“属灵争战”这个说法吗？基督徒用它来描述与仇敌撒旦的属灵战斗。对一些人来说，与撒旦争战的想法听起来过于强烈、令人恐惧、甚至耸人听闻，宁愿远离任何可怕的属灵战场；而另一些人则把属灵争战想得无足轻重，甚至带有浪漫色彩的得把他们自己幻想成白马上攻杀巨龙的骑士；然而也有一些人完全忽视属灵争战的想法，会困惑地提问：“什么？我们在与谁争战？”

圣经中是如何讲述属灵争战呢？这些争战真的存在吗？

The Apostle Paul teaches us 5 battle principles to fend off the devil’s schemes. Do you know what these strategic principles are? 

 Have you ever heard the term “Spiritual Warfare” before? It is a term that Christians use to describe spiritual battles with the enemy Satan. For some, the thought of fighting Satan sounds far too intense, frightening and sensationalistic and would prefer to stay far away from any kind of spooky spiritual battlefield. Others take the spiritual battle far too lightly and have a romantic fantasized view of themselves as a knight on a white horse slaying dragons. Still others are totally oblivious to the idea of spiritual battles and say with some confusion in their voice, “What? Who are we fighting?” 

 What does the Bible say about fighting spiritual battles? Do these battles really exist?

One year ago Spiritual Waimai published our first article: “Determined Faith in Coronavirus”. At that moment in time, we were all in our homes, looking out our windows, praying for God’s protection and cheering for those who were working so hard to stop the spread of the coronavirus. On February 7, 2020 Spiritual Waimai was launched as a mission to deliver spiritual food to our friends in this uncertain time. Little did we know that we would continue to package up the waimai and daily deliver the spiritual food for one year!
