Your Marriage is like a Garden

- Remove weeds

- Plant seeds

- Kill the snake

The real enemy in marriage is a SNAKE, not the SPOUSE.

Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”. 1 Samuel 17:37

1. Remember your lions before you attempt to help someone with their Giants.

Don’t blame your reaction on someones action.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, “Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Matthew 7:3-5

Before you deliver your spouse, get yourself delivered!

Jesus gives a mirror to those without mercy because we can’t be merciful without a mirror John 8:7

2. You can’t kill a Goliath by throwing stones at people.

Affirm the person, attack the problem

Affirm the identity, attack the issue

3. There is only one name but many stones that can defeat Goliath

Woman cried out for demon possessed daughter Matthew 15:22.

Take the weapons that suit you, but it’s the Holy Spirit who will do the miracle.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle but deliverance is of the Lord Proverbs 21:31

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47

Prayer Points:

1. Worship the name of Jesus. Call on the name Jesus. Shout the name JESUS CHRIST.

2. You Goliath in my life, you Goliath in my marriage, you Goliath in my finances be DEFEATED.

3. Anything standing between me and Gods promise in my life be REMOVED in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

4. Begin to rebuke any spirit that followed you here today.
