Why do we resist change? Is it because we fear the unknown? Likely the answer to that is yes. Oddly enough, the one constant in life is changing, so really, it is inevitable. The main thing we have to understand is that because change is unavoidable, you can either do it the hard way or the easy way. Life will put you through some hard lessons if you refuse to change. It is like a big would you rather question, would you instead take out the trash now, or would you instead let it pile up until you have an infestation of roaches so bad that it forces you to move. In this episode we dive into how important is to relinquish fear. Fear is a manufactured emotion that has been programmed in us, to allow us to put limitations on ourselves. As humans, we feel as though we are safe if we try to control everything. When in all actuality, control nor fear is real. We don't have the power over our lives that we think we have, and the power that we do have we are too afraid to tap into. Sometimes that power is just the art of doing and being still, being present and just experiencing.
