Rod sits down and chats about his time at McGill, where he was an analyst for the McGill Martlets Women's Hockey Team (11:33), his exchange journey to China that was completely out of his comfort zone (16:30), and how his role has evolved due to the postponement of Tokyo 2020 (30:20).

After that spiel that has absolutely nothing to do with sport, Josh gives an overview of his career journey (9:27), starting with finding his passion for sport business while majoring in political science, and a unique internship/class project with Tucson FC and the MLS Desert Diamond Cup (15:35) that helped him shape his industry niche (funny enough, he was talking to that same class he was in just before the show!).  Josh also talks about his time with the Phoenix Suns in business development and premium sales, including the ways the Suns brand was marketed to consumers (22:00). 

Finally, Josh talks about his role with Sports Business Solutions with regards to dealing with different sports teams and groups (29:17), and his position with theClubhouse, founded on the concept of giving back to aspiring sports industry professionals (33:16). He also sheds light on what's been making his life purposeful in an uncertain environment (37:33).

Season 2, Episode 16 is here, as William and Evan interview Erin Uchtenhagen, Business Executive for the WHL's Red Deer Rebels!

Erin starts off the podcast by telling the crazy story about how her start in the fashion industry during her time at Red Deer and Olds College led to her discovering a passion for business and sport (8:23), along with the relentless pursuit it took to land opportunities (11:38). Finally, Chris talks about the benefits with getting involved with local businesses (31:24), and common misconceptions with events in the industry (35:22).
