Turns out that Kokoro was his wife, and sheand Tom took in Icebarg and Franky as apprentices and taught them a great deal about shipbuilding. But sadly, Tom didn't have a lot of interest in playing by the usual rules when it came to clientele, and he lands himself in some hot water.

Darlington is none too pleased when they manage to drug him into making a fool of himself at party, but it's interesting that even after the drug wears off he still believes that what he saw was real.

I'm really loving the direction things are going in, both with Frankie turning out to be Not So Bad, and the fact that there's a spirit to the Going Merry that manifested for Usopp to see and hear. There's something very touching about all of this, and I'm fascinated to see what happens with this ship and what happens to Frankie.

Meanwhile, Luffy punches ineffectually at iron bodies, and Chopper admires Zorro's iron body.

These are the chapters that tell us what happened all those years ago to cause Alex to fall apart. I was surprised to see what a supportive and loving mother she seemed to have, and I'm sure it broke her heart to watch her daughter start going down such a destructive road. Alex has had some truly harrowing experiences, and I'm not sure that Darlington is ever going to find out just how bad it really is.
