Also, there's a wonderful bit where Envy turns into Hughes and it goes SO MUCH BETTER than it has in other episodes.

In these chapters, a misunderstanding almost results in Thera marrying the head of the clan she's trying to ally with, which would have led to the exile of the man she actually has grown to really care about (and whose child she's carrying, as we find out later).
In the end, they manage to manipulate this guy into an allegiance, but WOOF that was close.

So these are the chapters where Calder & Co. finally catch up to Lucan and they have a confrontation where Lucan shows off his incredible abilities, which makes his death seem even more of a waste.
Fucking Jyrene, tho. I'm really so frustrated with her, and I'm not sure how she sees this playing out but I don't think there's any possibility of a reconciliation with Calder after this.

This is an interesting section, and one of the more compelling moments for me is that instant where Andel gets to see the expression on Jyrene's face change in an intense and dramatic fashion when she attempt to initiate some other prisoners into the Sleepless. He has one very rational and understandable interpretation, but I am not sure I totally agree with it based on the information I'm working with.

These chapters are the ones where Nina is onboard to see another attack on Ravka from the deck of a Fjerdan ship. Unfortunately for Fjerda, they are met with Zoya wielding quite an incredible amount of power to electrocute all of the soldiers in the water. It's really amazing how complete a failure this particular attack turns out to be.
