So we've got a real weird start to this pair of episodes, with Mister Two getting scooped up onto their ship for reasons that remain pretty unclear other than maybe for the sake of a weird duck/dick joke. Turns out that Mister Two's power is being able to completely change his voice and appearance to mimic anyone that he touches, and I'm very into this concept.
Also there's an odd powder that can make it rain, and what a weird subplot. What is that going to mean for later?

These chapters are where shit really begins to ramp up. We've got Isaak beginning his attempts to grow closer to the Shu princess so that he can get information, and that already looks like it's going pretty well. Zoya is beginning to try doing some other types of Grisha power, which I'm very into. And as for Nina...
well, she's unexpectedly thrust into the presence of Jarl Brum which I absolutely didn't expect and I'm so mad that this asshole is still alive.

Brando Sando wrote what I think a short story although it's not that short, so perhaps it technically qualifies as a novella. It's a really enthralling story so far, and I'm a little sad that there's only one more episode's worth of coverage. However, this gives me a bit of a peek into the other universes that I haven't seen in my coverage of Mistborn.
I'm very into this whole concept, and also I feel like I just need to go find the collection it's from, Dangerous Women. I am really delighted with these badass bitches.

This is the second Makota Shinkai film that Candace has commissioned, and apparently he's working on a third one that I'm hoping to get to cover eventually.
I have to admit tho, this film didn't work for me nearly as well at Your Name because the ending felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to be. Shinkai made some statements about what he intended, but in my opinion that didn't come across and I would up kind of disliking the characters due to their choices.

This trio of episodes is when we get a character who can fight by throwing his afros, but from what I'm told in the comments while I'm recording, that is NOT a power that comes from a devil fruit??? It's just something that he can do??????
Also, Chopper has a secret weapon called Rumble Balls that help him transform into even more forms, and I wonder if there's any chance of some science giving Luffy some additional powers later?
