Ro: Toamnă.
En: Autumn.

Ro: Frunzele aurii și ruginii cădeau într-un dans lin prin aerul răcoros.
En: The golden and rusty leaves were falling in a gentle dance through the cool air.

Ro: În comunitatea închisă, casele erau decorate simplu, cu dovleci și câteva pălărioare festive.
En: In the gated community, the houses were simply decorated with pumpkins and a few festive hats.

Ro: Erau pregătiri pentru Halloween, iar Ionela avea un plan precis.
En: Preparations were underway for Halloween, and Ionela had a precise plan.

Ro: Timpul trecea, iar magazinul urma să se închidă.
En: Time was passing, and the store was about to close.

Ro: Ionela simțea cum se apropie să piardă.
En: Ionela felt like she was about to lose.

Ro: Matei părea tot mai lose cu fiecare minut, dar atunci îi veni o idee.
