A blast from the past, from the original Spooky Saturday live Facebook show. Join Devyn as she talks about all things American Aliens. Creepypasta redacted for rights issues. Join Devyn on a trip down memory lane from the original iteration of Spooky Saturday, a Live Facebook show where she talked about all things creepy and crawly. In this episode, Devyn talks about the American mystic of the Extra-Terrestrial. Do you believe?
Well folks, its Halloween. Or Halloweekend. And this Spooky Saturday is dedicated to finishing the long and arduous Halloween saga. Join Scott and Devyn as they give their review of the newest (and apparently not last) entry into the Halloween franchise. Was this movie written by a Republican computer? Will Scott ever know why the font from Halloween 3 was used? Why is there so much milk? All these questions and more....are maybe answered by this..movie?
Scott and Devyn are back again to cross the Wraith off of the whiteboard. While a wraith might be a bit of a stretch for Poltergeist, they will take any opportunity to watch one of the big horror greats. Join Scott and Devyn as they dissect and talk about Steven Spielberg/Tobe Hooper's Poltergeist. This house is clean....or is it?
Scott and Devyn are back yet again continuing on the trek through the Cabin in the Woods Cinematic Universe. And man, this part was hard. For the item of "Mutants" on the Institute's whiteboard, Devyn and Scott chose to watch through Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes (1977). Woof. See if they made it out alive....
Scott and Devyn are back for another entry into the Cabin the Woods Cinematic Universe! We're still on the whiteboard's checklist and the second kind of formidable entity was listed as Alien Beast. For this entry they chose to watch Ridley Scott's masterpiece Alien from 1979. Alien also just so happens to be one of Scott and Devyn's favorite movies. Listen along as they breakdown the movie itself and their thoughts.
Welcome to the first podcast episode of Spooky Saturday! In this first episode, local Queen of the Spooky, Devyn Ray begins to tackle the behemoth that is the Cabin the Woods Cinematic Universe. Cabin the Woods (2011) is *the* movie that capitalizes on all the major horror tropes from the past century. On this arduous adventure, she drags her best friend Scott Keel through all the things. They begin their journey crossing off the movies referenced on the institute's white board. The first monster scenario listed is the werewolf. Scott and Devyn have decided to start this off with John Landis's An American Werewolf in London. Listen to hear a breakdown of the film and their thoughts. Stay safe, stay hydrated and as always......Stay Spooky!
